I agree. Lieutenant General William Gus Pagonis was the logistical genius of Desert Shield/Storm. He doesn’t get near the credit he deserves. Because of him, Schwarzkopf could do the strategic and tactical miracles he pulled off. Marine Chesty Puller was known as a fighting general, but he was also very concerned with logistics and supply. Fuel, beans, bullets and bandages win the war. in WWII we were able to supply millions of soldiers, sailors and Marines to levels that astonished the Germans.
