There is no surer sign of cabin fever than the late winter indoor macro session. I look out the window at blinding sunshine. I run outside to enjoy the beautiful weather and crash into ten degrees F.
Back inside and break out the macro set up. These were shot with a Sony A7S, Minolta 200mm F4 macro lens, and the LAEA3 adapter and sometimes some A-mount macro extensions. Take them for what they are, a desperate cry for help(i.e., spring).
I can just about feel the thorns. We had a sunny day on Saturday, high near 45. That evening we got an inch
of snow. By 3 pm Sunday it was gone. Sigh.
Great snaps!!
Thanks. I’m looking forward to some more interesting photographic subjects once it’s actually spring. We had single digit temperatures over the weekend but the worst of it was the wind. It loosened up a big piece of flashing near the roof and I could hear it banging against the house for a couple of days. The joys of home ownership.
