Thanks. We had a lot of rain this year and it certainly had an effect. We also got these little flowers that apparently are parasitic on mushrooms
Fungus Among Us
What part of the country are you in (I understand if you don’t want to be specific about this; just curious about the general region)? I’m in the South, and we had weeks of virtually no rain, followed by Hurricane Florence. Now everything is shooting up–and the mosquitos are as big as Buicks!
I’m in southern New England and we’ve had so much rain that our mushrooms have mushrooms. I will say that the mosquitoes weren’t bad this year for some reason. But that could be a local situation where I live. Speaking regionally for my politics, I’m in one of the least conservative friendly areas. If it weren’t for grandkids I’d probably be in Southern Utah by now. I like it out there and I figure it’ll take longer before I’m forced into the re-education camps.
