I wonder if in his time they considered the clandestine stuff “diplomacy” instead of war. The Brits had the Great Game in India and the Middle East going on with Russia. They must have had their intelligence activities and brush fire activities.

A couple of the campaigns were fairly heavy. Lots of resources involved. More than just brush fires. One in Africa chased Che’ clean off the continent. We even had our own mini air force on that one.
