I believe it is a species of perennial plant of which the genus is called Echeveria. Camera Girl and her clan are big on succulent plants in the yard and house. She put this out three or four years ago and it’s adapted to New England winter in it’s own way.

I’m a fan of succulents, too. They’re the low-maintenance house plant.
They’re the lazy man’s plant. Forget to water them for a month and they thrive.
