I knew that picture was getting ready to drop.
The EXIF shows that the dimensions are roughly 1700 x 1200, so you’re already cropped in. I see a shutter of 1/500. Were you shooting handheld? If you were on a tripod, you could have traded some of that shutter speed for a higher f stop and depth of field.
But I pick at nits, nice shot.
Tom, people are going to be tired of water droplets by the thirty-first of January. Because of my imminent book launch I’ve preloaded all the photos until the end of the month and there were at least six or seven droplet shots. Yes all are heavily cropped and all are hand-held. We had a really good rain storm one summer day and I walked around the next morning looking for those photos. A couple came out pretty good.
