Can This Go on Forever?

So, Yevgeny Prigozhin bailed.  The neo-cons are heartbroken and the coup has been put on hold until Blinken finds another oligarch to bribe.  Well, sure.  Color revolutions are all about bribing your enemy’s friends.  This was a favorite tactic of the Byzantine Empire, resorted to once their enemies were too powerful to beat on the battlefield.

But really, nothing that happens anymore can seem too outlandish.  We’re firmly entrenched in bizzarro world.  Just look around at our government.  Right at the top we have Joe Biden.  Everything about Biden is screwed up.  He’s a mental midget.  He’s morally corrupt in multiple facets of his behavior.  He’s an influence peddler, a sexual deviant who preys on women and children.  He compulsively tells absurd lies that everyone sees through.  He’s an awful human being.  And he’s noticeably suffering from senile dementia.

And below him he’s assembled a cast of characters that staggers the imagination in its ineptitude, creepiness and dishonesty.

There’s the nuclear engineer in the Department of Energy that cross-dresses and steals luggage from airports to rifle through other people’s clothes.

Then there’s Admiral Rachel Levine, a fat bald guy wearing a wig and a badly fitting skirt who used to be called Richard Levine, was married to an actual woman and fathered two children.  He’s a medical doctor so we know deep down he knows his whole existence is a sham and probably a scam.  Just his expression alone tells you he’s insane.

There’s Merrick Garland, the failed Supreme Court candidate who now uses his position as the Attorney General to enforce the two-tier justice system that the Democrats maintain.  He tortures the regime’s enemies and seems to really enjoy it.

There’s Mayor Pete Buttigieg, the Transportation Secretary.  He looks like Mad magazine’s mascot Alfred E. Neuman but dopier.  Listening to Pete talk about any situation under his purview is to realize that he hasn’t got a clue as to how his job is done.  This is a man who strapped fake breasts to his chest to allow him to “breastfeed” the infants he adopted.  There was a picture on-line of him wearing this monstrosity.  Suddenly Rachel Levine seemed much less abnormal by comparison.

And of course, we can’t forget Vice President Kamala Harris, possibly the stupidest person to ever serve this country in elective office.  Proof of her mental deficiency is reinforced every single time she opens her mouth and speaks.  It’s so bad that even I, an implacable enemy of Harris and her whole party, feel pity whenever she’s forced to open her mouth and prove once again that she’s a moron.  I feel she should be in a setting where she can smile, work on coloring books and eat mush.

This is a representative sampling of our national leadership.  We are literally commanded by morons, real morons.  Now I understand that our system of government is really run by bureaucrats and corporate interests that decide policy behind the scenes according to what will make the elites the most money.

But the country is noticeably descending into a death spiral.  The economy is unwinding, the cities are death traps the infrastructure is crumbling and the young people can’t even decide if they’re men or women.

Can this go on?  I ask that as a question.  Maybe there is some method to this madness.  Maybe the powers that be are five-dimensional chess masters that know exactly how crazy the dopes they employ are allowed to be.  And they prevent them from stepping over the line.  I guess that’s possible.

But somehow, I don’t believe it.  Innately I feel that this whole insane carnival act; the Green New Deal, the trans-madness, the forever wars and the de-industrialization of America; that sooner than later all of that is going to come catastrophically crashing down around their ears.  And yeah, I know it’s going to destroy my life too but I feel somehow it will be worth it to see these people get dragged off to the guillotine.

If This Goes On … Then What? – Part 5 (Last)

As the final trend that I want to examine let’s look at the mindset of the American people.  The graph above, for what it’s worth, provides a measure of the well-being of the American people.  Notice that only for short periods does it ever crack the 60% level.  The average in the time before 2008 looks like it’s somewhere around 40%.  But since 2008 it has only cracked 40% once and that was right before the COVID debacle.  Now the average looks like it’s closer to 25%.

I won’t claim that we can read any deep meaning into this graph.  But what it seems to indicate for the post-2008 period is that only about 20% of the population are satisfied with the way the country is run.  I’ll assume that 20% is the affluent part of the population.  So, 66 million people are happy and 260 million are angry.  How is that going to work out?

When Donald Trump was elected in 2016 it was attributed to populist anger.  If you look at the graph you can see the satisfaction index increasing pretty steadily from 2016 to 2020 and then there’s a step down after 2020.  Unless there is an increase in material prosperity between now and the 2024 election the same populist anger will be present in the electorate to an even higher degree than in 20216.  The only difference is that the voter fraud that characterized the 2020 elections will be even more pronounced.  There is every indication that the outcome in 2024 will once again thwart the will of these populist voters.

What will be the result of this frustration?

One possibility is that the have-nots will just give up.  They’ll retreat to their parents’ basements, play video games, watch porn and die.  Their parents will live off their social security checks, 401K accounts and wait for death.  And the managerial state will rearrange society around the 20% that serve the interests of the elites who control all of the money and resources.

Another possibility is that regional leaders will organize a separate economy with a populist agenda.  This will run up against the dictates of the federal government.  And this spawns two separate possibilities.

In one case the populist entity will defy the federal government and continue on with its agenda and the federal government will acquiesce to its actions rather than attempt to subdue it by force.  In that case it would seem that the greater dynamism of the populist entity would tend to undermine the popularity of the federal government and might cause a moderation of the elite agenda.

In the second case, the federal government would attempt to coerce the populist entity by force.  And in this scenario the populist entity would be forced to fight a war to free itself from the federal government’s authority.  We’ll assume that the war is successful because the case where the war is unsuccessful is included in the first possibility where the populists give up.

So, these are the paths forward that I see.  There are other variants.  For instance, even with voter fraud if the economic situation in the United States continues to deteriorate, it’s very possible that the Democrats could be voted out in a landslide.  I’ll throw that case into the second scenario because it ends up with a populist government that does not have to fight a war with the feds.

My guess is something like the second scenario.  I think that autonomy will grow in populist areas of the country.  And that will allow for dissatisfaction with the federal government to be addressed.

If This Goes On … Then What? – Part 4

The next aspect of the mess we’re in that I’ll touch upon is the surveillance state.  For generations, but much more severely since the 9/11 attack, the intelligence agencies; the FBI, Justice Department, CIA, NSA, etc.; have been surveilling the American people and punishing anyone who speaks against them.  And lately they’ve taken it a step further and now have an effective veto on any elected office holder in the federal government.  What they did to Donald Trump when he was elected president shows that they can disrupt the activities of the President of the United States to such an extent that they effectively nullify his ability to select his own personnel and carry out his agenda.  And now they even prosecute candidates for high office to rob the electorate of their only effective means of control over the federal government.

Unlike the earlier installments of this series of posts there is only a binary choice.    And of the two paths forward, the preponderance of evidence indicates things will only go one way.  But I’ll lay out the two scenarios.

The first choice is that we solve this problem.  And what would have to happen to fix this?  The first step would be for the Congress to refuse to re-authorize the Patriot Act and the FISA courts.  And this would be an enormous action.  After the 9/11 attacks the American people willingly acquiesced in allowing the government to spy on us to prevent further terrorist actions occurring within the United States.  But just as some people on the Left warned us back then, the intelligence agencies have used these weapons against us.

The next step involves de-weaponizing these agencies but especially the FBI and Justice Department.  In plain language what it means is removing from power the whole upper echelons of these agencies.  These people would either have to be fired or transferred from their present positions into jobs where they effectively have no control over law enforcement responsibilities.  They would have to be given make-work positions and left to rot until they retire.

And the budgets of these agencies would need to be severely reduced so that we no longer have a situation where the NSA can afford to spy on all Americans simultaneously in real time and effectively controls the internet and the economic activity on it.

And finally, the agencies in question would need to have their charters rewritten to reduce their capacity to do harm.  And robust oversight would have to be built into other agencies and the presidency to more easily step in if criminal activity resurfaced.

So that’s scenario one.

The second scenario is simple.  Nothing gets done.  We continue on the present track where the Justice Department is the de facto enforcer of the banana republic junta we presently have running the country and by extension the whole western world.  What we’ve already seen of this thugocracy will only increase in scope when it becomes obvious that nothing can be done to correct the problem.  Who knows, we may even cease to go through the charade of elections and instead go to a permanent martial law basis where some committee “appoints” a dictator for life who will be rubber stamped by the Senate or whatever other clique of ruling class apparatchiks emerge.

I have to confess.  I’m pretty pessimistic about this.  The Deep State enjoys enormous power.  It seems more likely that the United States itself could unravel than for the intelligence agencies to be ripped out by the roots.  I think the bureaucracy in general and the intelligence agencies in particular are the Achilles heel of our republic.  They’ve become our masters and we don’t have the wherewithal to throw them off.

If This Goes On … Then What? – Part 2

One of the most distinctive aspects of the Left’s agenda is their devotion to deviant sexuality.  The so-called LGBTQ agenda has become the most important cause for the global elites around the world.  And the extremes to which this agenda will go to silence dissent knows no bounds.  Currently deviating from the new rules on “pronouns” can get you fired from your job, thrown off the internet and in certain states hauled into court.

Worse still, in places like California there are laws that will allow the state to sexually mutilate your children against your will.  Pediatric transitioning is a multi-billion-dollar industry that is based on the premise that pre-teens can know that they need to be changed into members of the opposite sex based on an innate feeling that they were born into the wrong body.  So, kids who aren’t assumed to be responsible enough to drink beer or get a tattoo somehow know what it will be like to be an adult of the opposite sex and can judge that the horrific surgeries needed to simulate this transition and the pain and suffering that they will experience for the rest of their lives, will be a reasonable course of action.

Needless to say, this is a revolutionary movement that flies in the face of sanity, decency and the rock bottom human instinct to preserve children from harm.  And finally, a reaction against it is beginning to appear around the country, most powerfully in Florida where Governor Ron DeSantis has led the charge against grammar school teachers and school board members grooming children for acceptance of the LGBTQ madness.  And Florida and some other states are even outlawing so-called “gender-affirming medical procedures” or more accurately, puberty blocking drugs, trans-sex hormones and sexual mutilation of children.

So, there is some hope.  Things could turn around and other aspects of the LGBTQ agenda could be reversed.  One possibility for this involves the Supreme Court reversing the gay marriage decision and even reversing the finding for a constitutional right to homosexual behavior.  But none of these things are clear one way or the other.  Once again, we are in a gray zone where things can go either way.  What are the possible outcomes?

The worse case scenario is the complete victory of the LGBTQ movement with pediatric transitioning becoming the law of the land and even pedophilia decriminalized.  This is the eventual victory that the deviants have been working toward all along.  This would render America an abomination that would cry out for the biblical reckoning that Sodom earned.

I think the middle scenario is the establishment in certain states of laws protecting children from the LGBTQ agenda.  The banning of pediatric transitioning and the strengthening of parental rights to prevent schools and other surrogates from proselytizing children into these deviant lifestyles would represent a specific line in the sand that could provide some sort of brake on the race to the bottom that we currently see going on in our society.

The best-case scenario would be a combination of several fortunate occurrences.  If the Supreme Court were to reverse the decisions on gay marriage and the constitutional protection for homosexual behavior this would provide the red states with the basis for rolling back a whole host of problems that plague our current society.  For me one of the best results would be not having to see the acronym LGBTQIA used everywhere I look.  Also, the term drag queen story hour would disappear from the lexicon except among weirdos in places like California and New York.  In other words, life would become a little like a paradise, relatively speaking.

Alright, here’s the moment of truth.  Which future do I think most likely?

Once again, I think the middle path most likely.  Protecting children is a pretty basic instinct.  I think in most places it will put a stop to the worst excesses of the sexual revolution.  At least that’s my guess.
