The Grown Children’s Crusade

I’ve been promised there won’t be any more snow until at least Sunday.  Of course, I still have about ten hours of snow removal on the lower driveway so that kind of stinks.  But thank heavens for small mercies.  So, I’m more or less free until Monday and I look around at the world and see goofusses in every direction.  Now goofus is a technical term and I may be applying it to critters that technically are other things; dumbasses, mopes, mooks and just plain knuckleheads.  But as a generic term it’s a good stand in.

I saw a video of a woman at one of the anti-ICE riots who picked up a flash-bang explosive to throw back at the police and had it blow off some of her fingers.  This is not normal.  Women don’t typically become rioters.  This is a special brand of stupidity.  It’s like some kind of modernist version of the “Children’s Crusade.”  Let’s nickname it the “Grown Children’s Crusade.”  The guy who got himself shot last week was an ICU nurse.  I’m going to guess he wasn’t an antifa regular.  Someone must have told him that attacking ICE agents while carrying a hand gun was a risk-free exercise.  I’m guessing that was an antifa regular.

So, what you have is the Minnesota true-believers who cheered for the George Floyd riots to change the world have followed a new crusade to make Minnesota safe for illegal aliens.  In their atheist-adjacent LGBTQ-friendly churches they gather to egg each other on and then they head over to the local NGO where the city and state contacts provide whatever support the local antifa chapter needs to harass ICE without any accountability.  And that’s the difference between antifa and the useful idiots they are surrounded with now.  They have no idea what they are doing.  They remember Frey and Walz forcing the city and state police to stand down while antifa and BLM ran amok.  So, they think that’s how this works.  Idiots like Good and Pretti think they’re immune from harm because Walz and Frey tell them they’re doing the Lord’s work.

I read today that Walz has called in the state troopers to break up the protestors.  Is this a capitulation or just a tactic?  There is a story going around that the state and city leaders were involved in the planning of the interference with the ICE operations.  Perhaps Walz is worried about his culpability under federal law.  So many stories, so little knowledge.

The only question is will Trump stick to his guns or not.  If he caves to Minnesota then the same thing will happen in all the blue states.  And after that all the good that Trump is trying to do will be undermined.  And that’s the whole struggle writ small.  Stand up to the antifa mobs and if necessary, put them down when they threaten to riot and defy law and order.  I don’t have a clue as to what he will do.  So that’s enough for now.

Greg Bovino Press Conference in MN

Bovino is one of the head honchos with Border Patrol and together with his associate from ICE they gave an update on the MN operation and also addressed the protester with the gun who got himself shot.

I’ll say I like his style and the way he addresses the press.  He lays the whole situation out as basically the choice of the protesters that have bought into Frey’s and Walz’s framing that obstructing law enforcement is a reasonable activity instead of a crime.

Bovino said that these people have made poor choices and these have terrible consequences.  So Frey and Walz are trying to repeat the playbook from the Summer of Floyd and Trump and ICE won’t have it.

Minnesota in the Balance

So, what is next in Minnesota?  One of the Left’s acolytes tried to play “chicken” with the ICE agents and got herself killed.  That’s pretty scary stuff.  The real question is what comes next?  Will they escalate and attack the agents again?  Or will they back off?  I start to wonder if even they know what they’re doing.  These are highly emotional almost emotionally disturbed individuals who have been preached to by people on the Left who don’t seem to care that they’re going to get some of them killed.  These provocateurs are the same sort that attacked Kyle Rittenhouse during the George Floyd riots of 2020.  They rile up the useful idiots who follow these protests and that is exactly how you end up with a woman who has no idea how dangerous it is to drive into a police operation and then disobey the orders of those police when they point their guns at you and tell you to get out of your car, get herself killed.

I heard Walz addressing his constituents and begging them not to give Trump an excuse for declaring martial law or invoking the Insurrection Act.  And this makes me wonder whether this is just cover.  Would Walz be happier if things blow up in Minnesota or would he prefer the fraud investigation to be the top news item in the country.  I honestly don’t know the answer to that.  Minnesota is a bottomless pit of leftist madness so it’s almost impossible to know which crazy cause or interest group will erupt into madness next.  But it looks like Minnesota is going to be ground zero for all of the problems that Donald Trump is trying to fix; fraud in government programs funded by the Biden administration, sanctuary state activities that interfere with ICE arrests of illegal aliens, transgender policies that lead to minors receiving dangerous medical treatments and finally discrimination against anyone who doesn’t follow the progressive mantra.

The flip-side of this question about Minnesota is what will Trump do?  Will he back off after the death of Renee Good or will he continue to arrest illegal aliens that are emphatically present all-around Minneapolis.  This is million-dollar question.  Trump has staked his presidency on deporting the millions of illegals hiding in the blue states.  If he lets Minnesota or New York or California defy him and prevent the deportations he will lose his backing.  But at the same time, he knows he can’t spook the moderates by appearing to turn the country into a battle ground.  So, he has to strike a balance.  And that is why the death of Renee Good is a tricky problem.  Will it scare Trump?

I hope the answer is no.  I think in the long run the vigorous enforcement of the immigration law will have both a positive effect on Trump’s voters and a negative effect on the Left’s morale and election turnout.  So, I think along with his efforts to improve the economy Trump shouldn’t be afraid to go after sanctuary states like Minnesota as hard as he can.  That’s my opinion.

These Are the Things I Think About

Tim Walz has been dominating the left-nutjob news cycle for the last week or two.  But his compatriots in the “Gopher State” (also sometimes nicknamed more accurately as “New England of the West”) decided to provide him with some cover so they decided, “Let’s just go insane and force ICE agents to shoot us!”  Someone named Renee Nicole Good decided to menace ICE agents with her car and when they ordered her to get out of her car she drove toward the officer standing in front of her car and got herself shot.  She subsequently died and now she is a martyr for stupid leftists everywhere.  But refusing to be upstaged Walz has declared that he is going to call in the National Guard to repel the ICE agents.  Now that is what I call dialing the stupid up to eleven.

Things seem to be accelerating.  Well, why not?  I hope Trump is preparing to send special forces into the Minnesota Governor’s Mansion and provide Tampon Tim with the cell next to President Maduro.  And while he’s at it he might as well add Mayor Frey to his collection of annoying political losers.  Now some people are worried this stuff will boil over into civil war.  I’m not.  Now if we are talking about war, then we can find better things to worry about.  Russia, China even Iran have some dangerous military assets and a track record for war.  But Tim Walz does not have a history of fighting.  He is willing to allow rioters to burn down various urban centers in his state as is Mayor Frey.  But personally get involved in war?  No, he resigned from the National Guard when his unit was scheduled to go to Iraq.  So no, Walz doesn’t do war.  I read that Trump declared that he has proof that George Soros is funding the Antifa violence and he’s going to go after him for it.  Well, what has he been waiting for?  Don’t tell us, show us.  Give Soros the cell next to Walz.  I’m sure listening to Walz for even a short time would drive Soros to suicide.

But things definitely seem to be reaching some kind of crescendo.  Maybe I was wrong about Iran.  It’s starting to look like the anti-government protests are reaching some kind of critical mass where the mullahs might actually flee the way Assad did in Syria in December, 2024.  Imagine if the Iranians actually end the Islamic republic and go back to just being a normal country.  Suddenly Hamas, Hezbollah and half of the other crazies in the Middle East would lose all their funding.  Maybe all those terrorists would have to get jobs and work for a living.

But I will miss the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei chanting Death to the Great Satan!  Of course, the previous Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khomeini chanted the same thing.  And you know, their names are really similar.  Coincidence?  I don’t think so!  And they look a lot alike.  I think they had the same beard.  Hey, maybe they’re really the same guy!  Maybe he just made believe he died to get the life insurance money.  Well, it’s too bad Jimmy Carter couldn’t have lasted a few more years.  He could have lived to see the guys who lost him his re-election bounced out of Iran.

These are the things I think about.

You Won’t Have Tim Walz to Kick Around Anymore

Tim Walz, that hero of the George Floyd Riots (I mean protests), the only politician stupid enough to make Kamala Harris look like the smart half of the ticket, is not running for re-election.  Well, well, well.  How the knuckleheaded hath fallen.  Okay, now things will get interesting.  The ongoing investigations into Somali scams that ate up billions of dollars should be very interested in exactly what Tim knew and when he knew it.  Who knows, maybe Tim might have to defend himself in court against charges that he was complicit in the large-scale fraud that occurred in the state he ran as governor.  Or maybe he wasn’t part of the fraud.  Maybe he really is as stupid as he says he is.  If that’s the case then it’s the voters of Minnesota who are at fault.  They elected and re-elected this guy.  After all he was the one at ground zero when the George Floyd riots were getting started and he did nothing to stop them.  In fact, he enabled them in every way he could.  When some National Guard troops could have put a stop to the looting and arson, he let it happen and even justified it as “peaceful protests.”

And during the COVID fraud he went along with the school and work shutdowns and the mask mandates and all the other nonsense that crippled this country and deprived kids of their education.  Yes, at every turn Tim’s been a rolling disaster of a nincompoop.  Whether it was putting tampon dispensers in the boy’s bathrooms in the high schools or resigning his military position right before the Iraq War, Tim has been at the forefront of unmanly behavior wherever he was.

And yet the interesting thing is that Kamala Harris selected him, not only because he was almost as stupid as she was but because they thought he would appeal to white male voters.  As a white man I find this incredibly insulting.  They must think we really are idiots.  What normal man thinks Tim Walz represents him?  Even a cursory glance at his history or his statements would clearly show him to be a radical progressive with a clear hatred of traditional values and white men.  He is the antithesis of J. D. Vance and this was openly apparent in the vice-presidential debate during which Vance made Walz look like a low-grade moron (which he is).

So just a little over a year after Tim Walz helped Donald Trump become president of the United States again, Tim will be helping Trump show the country just what dishonest and incompetent politicians the Democrats are.  California, Minnesota, New York and Illinois are all floundering in debt and dysfunction.  Tim will be a symbol of how the leaders of that party are personally responsible for the fraud and waste that went on during the Biden presidency.  Walz may be lucky that he’s leaving now.  Even his incompetency may soon be eclipsed by the spectacle of Mayor Mamdani turning the largest city in the nation into a third-world hellhole.  But even so Tim Walz has earned himself a spot on the Wall of Shame.  Adios Knucklehead.  We hardly knew ye.

The Lunatics are Running the Asylum in Minnesota

Alleged Minnesota shooter confessed to killings in letter to FBI director

This is a transcript of what was in the confession letter that Minnesota political assassin Vance Boelter left in his car when he ran away from police.

“Dear Kash Patel,

My name is Dr. Vance Luther Boelter Ed.D. I am the shooter at large in Minnesota involved in the east 12 shootings the morning of Saturday June 15th at approximately 2:30 am and 3:30 am and maybe others. I will probably be dead by the time you read this letter. I wanted to share some info with you that you may find interesting.

I was trained by U.S. Military people off the books starting in college. I have been on projects since that time in Eastern Europe, South America, the Middle East, and Africa. All in the line of duty, what I thought was right and in the best interest of the United States.

Recently I was approached about a project that Tim Walz wanted done, and ___ and Keith ___ was also aware of the project. Tim wanted me to kill Amy Klobuchar and then ___ to retire as planned.

Tim wants to be a senator and he doesn’t trust ___ to retire as planned, and plans so I was to stay at the best motel with Amy ___ gave Tim would get one of the open senate seats, and ___ was to be gov, and Keith Ellison would be rewarded with a high governor’s position.

I told Tim I wasn’t willing to do with it and if he didn’t call off that plan I would go public. He said he would call it hurt my family if I didn’t play ball. Then he set up a meeting with me and Mel ___ and ___ to talk about jobs. When I arrived they had some people waiting to kill me. I was able to get away by God’s mercy. So I went back a short time later and shot battled with ___ ___.

You should know how I didn’t fire one round at any peace officers and boy did I have plenty of opportunity. Ask for the report on how my weapons and ammunition I had with me.

Cops were pulling up right next to me in their vehicles and I had an AK rifle armed right at them, hand on ___, I could have took out a pile of cops dead but I didn’t shoot at protect & serve law enforcement. You can ask them. Because I support the police and didn’t want to see them hurt.

But if they are hurting my wife + or kids next time, I won’t give them a pass.

If you think I’m making this up, just get on the phone and tell Tim you have a few questions for him.

Then ask Tim Walz if he knows me and see what he says? If he says he doesn’t know me, never met me, look in the files and you will see that Tim Walz personally approved me to be on his Governor’s workforce. Buildings and elite business representatives. He is probably trying to destroy that info but it’s public record.

Then ask Tim Walz why they kept the shots silent from the media when they first happened. Not a word in the press and it. Why? They needed to get their ___ for strings figured out first so everyone was on the same page about what happened. Tim is probably crapping bricks right now because I’m still at large and he knows what I can document, what I know, what all the buried skeletons are. So I will be shot on sight, you can bet on that.

If you want me to turn myself in, it need to be directly to you and Ben. I need to be held at a military prison + or in Asia or the Middle East, or at least on a ship. These guys have their goons everywhere and can get to anybody, initially over there.

I am willing to spill all the beans. I quit with my family safe. They had nothing to do with this and are totally innocent. This was a one person op.”

Now how do you figure this?  Without a doubt this guy is crazier than a bedbug.  But there’s something very, very fishy going on in the great state of Minnesota.  They must be adding LSD to the drinking water.  This guy claims he can document this madness.  Well, as I said, I’m sure he’s a complete lunatic but there’s more to this than just a single madman on the rampage.  He has a link to Walz that is verifiable.  Is there anything more to this link or is it simply the ravings of a madman?  If there’s more to this maybe by Wednesday there will be some additional documentation of what is going on in the Gopher State.

But let’s assume this is all complete schizophrenia.  Mr. Boelter is just talking to the voices inside his head.  What is a guy like this doing as an appointed official in their state government?  Have they decided that psychosis is a valuable skill for Minnesota state officials to possess?

As I said, something stinks here.  This guy should have been in a looney-bin not sitting on a state government board.  Well, let’s see.

Minnesota Madness

The same people who gave us the George Floyd Summer of Thugs have returned with the Vance Boelter False Flag Insurrection.  There is something seriously wrong with the people living in Minnesota.  This guy Boelter previously served on Minnesota’s Governor’s Workforce Development Board, appointed by Governor Mark Dayton in 2016 and reappointed by Tim Walz in 2019.  There are even claims that Boelter’s wife, Jennifer Boelter, worked as an intern for Tim Walz in 2010 when he was a Congressman.

Either this guy Boelter is trying to start a civil war or the people in Minnesota are just so randomly crazy that anyone is just as likely to be an advisor to the governor or a homicidal maniac or both.  By tomorrow we’ll probably find out that Boelter has come out in favor of Palestine and the people of Minnesota have made him governor by acclamation.

So, somehow this guy gets access to a look-alike unmarked police cruiser, a police uniform and equipment (gun, taser, body armor) and goes on a killing spree; whacking high-ranking legislators and their families on a whim?  I’m sorry.  Minnesotans are just too crazy and stupid to be allowed to walk around loose.  The whole state should be turned into a low-temperature nut house where Somalis and Scandinavians can torture each other in adjoining padded rooms between bouts of shock therapy and whole-body ice water immersion.

But none of this is a surprise.  Tim Walz is a weird creepy man who should never have been elected dog catcher never mind the governor of a state.  Every time he talks in front of an audience every other sentence is a misstatement or gibberish.  The fact that Kamala Harris chose him as her vice-presidential running mate is proof that he’s a drooling idiot.  She didn’t dare pick anyone with even normal intelligence for fear of making herself appear even stupider.

It remains to be seen just how close the relationship is between Walz and Boelter.  If it turns out there’s a close connection then God help Walz.  He’ll be fed to the wolves by his own party.  They’ll probably impeach him and boot him out of the governor’s mansion.

And you know what?  It couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.  After how he fanned the fires of the Geroge Floyd riots and caused untold damage to the people caught up in the violence and all the damage done afterward by the coddling of criminals, it would be poetic justice if he was kicked to the curb by his own people.

And even if he survives, the dysfunctional politics of Minnesota will continue to plague the people who vote for the race baiters and hypocrites there and lead to the psychopaths like Boelter who go slowly crazy in the cold and then erupt into madness and wipe out the very people they depend on for political favors and perks.  Well, bad things come in threes.  First LA erupts into chaos.  Now Minnesota unleashes a mass murderer.  What’s next?  New York City sinks into the ocean?  Stay tuned.

Guest Contributor – Milo Mindbender – 10AUG2024 – Sergeant Tim Walz

I have served in the Army, and understand what a conditional promotion is. You get the rank without the full set of qualifications, and promise to complete them within a specified time frame or lose the promotion.
My problem is Walz refers to himself as a retired command sergeant major E-9, but his actual retirement rank is master sergeant E-8. He did not hold the rank long enough or complete the requirements to keep it. He reenlisted for 4 years in 2003, promoted conditionally in 2004, rumour has it learned through the grapevine about an upcoming deployment, and jumped into retirement. This means he could state ” I was a command sergeant major, and I am a retired guardsman” both of those statements are factually correct. He is not a retired command sergeant major, but a retired master sergeant. In 24 years of service according to his Wikipedia page he has 1 army commendation medal, that seems kinda low, I served 4 years active duty, and got 2 ARCOMS, as a Spec-4, I now have 40 years of service total, and my highest personal award is a meritorious service medal, gotten for 26 years in the Air Force reserve, when I transferred to the Air Guard. I saw no overseas service or combat campaign awards, this looks suspicious, because that means he never carried anything in any war zone, because he was never there. This seems like a minor distinction, but it gripes me to hear someone self promote and then try to weasel their way out of an exaggeration by claiming to be a higher rank than their ID card shows.

Update:

TomD commented:

Walz’s military record, or lack of it, is entirely peripheral to me. The core issue, and this is indisputable, is that he has governed as a hard left radical, adopting and enforcing every leftist position right down the line.

He could have been the Commandant of the Marine Corp with 9 combat deployments and it wouldn’t make a whit. The fact of his deception is just carrying coal to Newcastle for me.

War Pig commented:

I agree. Sort of fishy. I do not mind him not having served in actual combat as relatively few service members realy do fire a weapon in anger or are in an area where they can be bombarded. But, look at the man and two women killed in the drone strike. Death can find you. I know of a couple of sergeants major who never fired a weapon other than on a range but were in the artillery and air cav, respectively. Both served I think it was 32 years active, but had several medals and badges. Then there are those who manage to serve 20 and not actually perform their MOS except in training. They go off into “temporary” duty as a special services NCO or one of a hundred other make work jobs. They found out how to work the system. I’m pretty sure you knew of various NCOs assigned to your unit you never saw except at quarterly recall formations. Could be he was one of those soldiers. Nothing dishonorable, just nothing special. He may have heard about a deployment and took the easy way out. Not illegal, just not someone I’d want to be one heartbeat away from the Oval Office and the Football.

War Pig commented:

This is true. He’s in Soros’ pocket and all his thinking is done by Obama. He joined in with the Defund the Police movement, which hurt minority citizens the most. Martha’s Vinyard is not effected by Defund the Police, but inner city families in blue cities sure are.

Thursday’s Surcease of Sorrow

I had today off.  Ah, the glory.  But I still had to get up early because we had visitors and as pontifex maximus I have prescribed duties that include invocations and vague mumblings that render me canonically relevant but still slightly insane.

But it was good to be free for the day.  I spent time with the grandchildren and Camera Girl as she presided over mass quantities of juvenile comfort food (macaroni with cheese and grilled cheese sandwiches) and really bad kids’ movies (the 2021 “Tom and Jerry” movie and that monstrosity, “Ants” that Woody Allen, of all people, was in).  They taught me a game called, “Swim, fishy, swim” which is basically a version of tag or red light, green light.  Then we broke out the card games but other than war I didn’t know these other games.  They used non-standard decks of cards and weird rules.

While playing war I discovered that their reaction time is a lot faster than mine is now.  It is humbling to be in the presence of neurons that fire perfectly.  Old age is not for sissies.  But at least I was able to correct them in their use of the subjunctive mood.  Of course, I don’t think the subjunctive is still acknowledged anymore in grammar school.  In fact, I don’t think they teach grammar in grammar school anymore.  But I digress.  It was good to be among the young and away from Dunwichian responsibilities.  I still have five or six days of horror beginning tomorrow but a day off was great.

Of the various things going on I thought the most interesting development was the background on Gov. Tim Walz’s military service.  From what I read Walz retired out of his National Guard unit after he was notified that his unit was being deployed to Iraq in 2005.  And at the time he was the ranking non-commissioned officer in the unit.  I listened to a video where Megyn Kelly interviewed Tom Behrends, another non-commissioned officer from Walz’s National Guard unit, and he basically called Walz a coward for refusing to lead his unit into combat.  Never having served myself I’d be very interested in getting the opinions of those on this site who have served as to whether what Behrends says is reasonable.  What is the moral responsibility of a National Guard leader when his unit is called up for war?  How prevalent would this kind of reaction to deployment be?

Now I dislike Walz because he was the governor during the George Floyd riots in Minneapolis and he never ordered the National Guard to halt the rioting, arson and plain murder that went on during those riots.  I think he should be prosecuted for that.  But apparently in Minnesota they’re alright with that sort of thing.  So, they should get as much of that as is humanly possible.  In that sense it’s like California or New York.  But if Walz is running for Veep then his actions as governor should be fair game.  So, reviewing what he did during the Floyd riots makes perfect sense.

As for his refusal to be deployed to Iraq, I’m interested in what knowledgeable have to say about it.

Well, I better get some sleep.  More fun and games tomorrow.
