What Will Our New Nation Look Like?

Everyone talks about the “Two Americas.”  One of them is well defined.  The Progressive America has declared its mission statement.  It is the Woke, Anti-White, Globalist Nation.  It will continue down that road for the foreseeable future.  If we want to see what it will look like in a few years it will look like San Francisco, Portland, Minneapolis, Chicago and Atlanta.  It will be a place that pits various grievance groups against white people, men, people who aren’t sexual deviants and probably other groups that haven’t yet been attacked because no one has had a chance to think up a grievance against them.  Based on current trends I would guess that the next target will be people who can legitimately pass a course in high school geometry.

So that’s one nation.  The other one is ours.  A lot of people assume that our nation will essentially be like what America was before the grievance movements started changing things in the 1960’s.  That is a possibility but I wouldn’t say it’s the only one or even the most likely outcome.  And I won’t pretend that I’m sure how it will turn out but I have been thinking about it lately.  I’ll go through my thinking on it.  Thinking about it methodically seems the most comprehensive way to avoid missing any cases.

I’ll start with the most pessimistic scenario, of course.  Let’s call this the complete triumph of the Left or the complete collapse of the Right.  Whichever angle you take on it, it’s where the Right loses all political battles and essentially disappears from the culture.  So, all the old ideas and customs disappear and are completely replaced even in memory with the woke culture.  Freedom of speech disappears and individual freedom becomes reduced to which particular sexual deviancy you currently espouse.  Basically, it will look like California everywhere.  If I’m being honest, I might say that this is one of the likelier possibilities.

Slightly less pessimistic, is the case where people like us become a sort of shunned pariah minority.  Sort of the way the Coptic Christians exist in Egypt after the Arabs established Islam as the state religion.  They are despised and their place in society is always subject to assault by the authorities and even by the population at large.  Everyone knows that if the Copts are persecuted beyond what the law already prescribes it is very doubtful that the perpetrators will suffer heavy consequences.  And once again, this is not an unheard-of eventuality.  In fact, it’s sort of the status quo in blue states.  Think of that wedding baker in Colorado who keeps getting charged by the authorities for following his conscience, even after the Supreme Court has already found in his favor on the facts of the case.  Harassment and persecution all the way down.

A third case would be for the Right to prevail in some subset of the United States territory.  So, let’s say that the country doesn’t technically break up but the individual states are allowed to legislate social policy according to their beliefs.  One way this might work out is for these states to keep the current status quo.  Leave all the current laws but enforce the things that the federal government has been neglecting.  So, for instance they might enforce immigration laws and protect first and second amendment rights.

But they might decide that they want to roll back many of the things that the federal government and especially the Supreme Court have ordered over the last 50 to 70 years.  And there is a whole boat of things that would be covered there.  In reverse chronological order that would include, transgender rights, gay marriage, sodomy laws, abortion and affirmative action.  And there could be many other changes.  Access to welfare could be curtailed or eliminated altogether.  Even programs like social security and Medicare and Medicaid might be eliminated.  One thing that might be changed is the concept of citizenship based on birth in the territory of the United States.  Even the right of citizens of other states immigrating into another state might be questioned.

So, it could be seen how in a place where these types of changes are being considered or even enacted the nature of citizenship and patriotism would be very different.  Maybe Texan would become a much more important identifier than American.  And I could see regional identity become something important.  If several adjacent states coordinated their legal and commercial affairs, they could make a region almost the equivalent of a nation state.  I don’t claim to think this option is one of the most likely but I can see how it might be the most beneficial arrangement for our nation.

Another possible outcome but much less likely is the Right essentially wins.  We somehow build a big enough coalition to win the legislative battles and make the administrative changes that prevent us from being victimized by the Left.  Here we have to assume that the process of coalition building will involve identity groups negotiating quid pro quo arrangements where no one would get everything they wanted.  It would mean that this coalition would still be made up of adversarial groups fighting in a zero-sum game and only cooperating in the face of the greater evil that the Left represents to normal people of various ethnicities.  This will be a kind of cold civic nationalism where grudging tolerance will be the rule.  Once again patriotism will not be any part of this society.

I guess the final case is where someway, somehow Americans come to their senses and realize that what they had in the mid-twentieth century was as close to heaven on earth as anything could be and reject leftism and all the harmful and dysfunctional policies that the Left has spread and fostered.  Then we would have a country like we used to have.  I rate the possibility of this case so close to zero that arrays of supercomputers working on the probability couldn’t find a non-zero decimal place in the whole number.

So, these are the cases I can come up with.  Do you know of any other case?  Which one do you think will occur?

Guest Contributor – Jason M – How We Should React to the Left’s Attacks

I’m almost of the opinion that since they don’t want to do anything more than threaten (I agree with you on that), then we should use the sable-rattling as an excuse to escalate things. Call their bluff, so to speak. The problem is that it has to be coordinated and purposefully and resolutely led. An individual would simply be prosecuted (ie Jan 6 investigations).

Otherwise, without getting into legality, the “easiest” answer to me is a new nation. Let them have what they want and let us have what we want. In the 1860s, the northern states acdtually needed the agriculture of the southern states so it made sense to fight over secession. That’s not true any longer.

Presumably, any nation is just a collective of “similarly-minded” people (Or at least, similar on key, fundamental issues). That being the case, what is the argument from the left AGAINST forming 2 nations within our area of the continent? One nation for “them” and another for “us”?

“It’s illegal!!” Prove it! And even if you can prove it, so what? Make it legal, then.
“But the Constituion…!!” So? The Constitution was written, endorsed, and signed by men who forcibly declared their independence from their sovereign nation!

Seriously, what is left? What argument can possibly stand up to the logic of simply forming a second nation? (I say “simply” because it is the thought process that is simple here, not the actual forming of a new nation.) The “sides” here are so diametrically opposed to one another that “one nation” is no longer logical.

Actually, now that I think of it, the national debt is a big problem with this thought. How does it get split? Then that leads to other things like Social Security… while these things are issues that stand in the way, if we truly wanted to, we could find equitable solutions to anything if people were willing to work in good faith toward those solutions. And therein lies the problem in my cynical mind. I don’t trust “them” to work in that good faith.

Now I’ve succeeded in depressing myself… thanks brain… thanks Photog.

Even the Left Admits There Are Now Two Americas

In Ed Kilgore’s screed he talks about the undeniable fact that the two Americas are permanently opposed to each other on almost every issue and that we basically despise each other.  Of course, he describes it from the point of view of a Leftist and paints our people as the unenlightened, unintelligent and immoral side of the argument but at least he isn’t claiming that we don’t speak for half the country.  And he doesn’t pretend that we will come around to his way of thinking.  They hate us and we’re learning to hate them right back.

From my point of view the Left saying out loud that we are “not of the body” is a very good thing.  And I hope they start talking about getting rid of us by dumping the flyover states and going it alone.  That would be the single best thing that could possibly happen to us.  I don’t think it’s likely.  I think they know we would be phenomenally better off without them and they would be in a really bad place without us.  But even if it’s just talk, I think they should be encouraged to talk this way.  If enough of the stupider people in their camp started repeating this idea enough maybe we could make them think it’s their idea and stampeded the whole thing through before they have a chance to wise up the idiots.

The way to assist in the process of convincing the Left that we should move apart is to resist every policy that benefits them and make the red states as uncomfortable as possible for their ilk.  I think the red state governors should do everything possible to make their cities less appealing to Leftists.  Whatever policies the cities have promulgated should be reviewed at the state level and vetoed if they tend to attract Leftists to the red states.  The first thing I can think of is wean the population off welfare.  Not just temporarily but permanently.  The next thing I’d go after is the public schools and colleges.  Review their curricula and delete all the woke and LGBTQ stuff.  Hungary just enacted a law banning the proselytizing of minors on the homosexual lifestyle.  It was hilarious when the gay members of the EU governments started howling about this law.  That’s how I know it’s an effective law.  The public schools and state colleges are funded with our tax dollars.  Pulling that money out of the hands of Leftists is the single largest impact we can have in the Culture War.  Imagine if we could effectively end the programming of our children against us.  That alone might win the war.

And most importantly the states can nullify the anti-Constitutional federal laws and policies.  Banning affirmative action and allowing individuals to sue corporations for curtailing free speech on the social media platforms would put the hurt on those companies who have jumped on the woke bandwagon.  These things would be the best way to re-establish the constitutional basis for American freedom.  Without freedom of speech and religion and association we are not really Americans, we’re prisoners of war, we’re strangers in our own land.

So, yeah, I agree with Ed Kilgore, strange as that is to say.  We are two nations and we should be separated and allowed to go our own ways.  It’s no different from Czechoslovakia becoming Slovakia and the Czech Republic.  Who knows, after we part ways we might find we can be very good neighbors.  They can buy our food products and minerals and we can buy their movies, at least after they’ve been put through a wash cycle to remove the filth.  We can even divide up the nuclear arsenal.  Although with their strong aversion to all things masculine maybe they better just let us take care of those scary things.  Wouldn’t want to upset their troops during their drag queen war maneuvers.

Let’s agree to disagree and get on with the divorce.

A Fourth of July Perspective

Looking at the opinion articles from the Left, the first thought I have is one I’ve thought before.  Juan Williams must be the stupidest human being on this green earth.  But then I get to the second article and suddenly a new champion emerges.  And so it goes.  The content of these “opinions” is just blatant partisanship and hatred of America that wouldn’t pass any test for objectivity.

Juan Williams: How the Supreme Court eroded voting rights

Clyburn states he is ‘always for voter ID’ after previously calling it ‘suppression’

F**k Fourth of July: The only independence day I recognize is Juneteenth

Angry haters? Some liberals use Fourth to denigrate America

But after I get over the outrage I feel over the ingratitude these dimwits feel toward the country that made them citizens of the first world, I think my next emotion is gratitude for the clarity they have provided.  Up until the Obama years we could imagine that we were all patriotic citizens of the greatest country on earth.  Up until the Trump years we could pretend that the Democrats were invested in seeing this country prosper.  Now we know that fully 40% of the citizens of this country want to destroy it.  Another 20% are too stupid to see that the Democrats are trying to do exactly that.  That leaves about 40% who are actual Americans.

The question in my mind is how to bring that 40% together in a way that benefits us and harms the other 60%.  And I think both sides of that proposition are important.

On the positive side we need to protect our people from the madness being unleashed all around us.  We need to build schools that talk about the two countries that exist within the fifty states.  It isn’t enough to use the old patriotic boilerplate to teach American history and civics.  It is critically important to tell the whole tale of how Alinskyite tactics were used to capture the schools and colleges and then everything else.  We have to warn the young people about what they will find in the real world and what they’ll have to do to protect themselves and eventually their own children from the poison.  We’ll need to describe how the Supreme Court stripped away our rights and invented corrupt new ones like affirmative action.  So, somebody has to write those text books and someone has to find teach this material.

We’ll need to identify each other and support each other commercially and socially.  We’ll need our own social media networks and we’ll need our own clubs and other organizations.  Setting up a network that encompasses that 40% and provides actual benefits for the membership will be difficult.  It’s never been done before.  Up until now we thought America was one country so one set of schools and one set of fraternal organizations seemed adequate.  But it’s vitally important that organizing these things begins.

On the negative side we need to make sure that the 60% gets to reap the whirlwind that they’ve sown.  Every city they’ve destroyed should be their responsibility.  Let them find a way to pay for the services that won’t have the middle class to pay for.  After a million affluent people leave New York City the remainder will not be able to pay for running the transit system and the schools and the garbage pickup and the road and bridge repair.  New York State will end up paying the tab but they don’t have the resources.  And you and I shouldn’t pay it either.  And that goes for Los Angeles and Minneapolis and Chicago and Detroit and Portland and Atlanta and St Louis.  Sure, Atlanta and St. Louis are in red states and their state governments should use the bankruptcy of those cities to rein in the Democrat politics.  Putting the cities into receivership will allow the state to dictate the policies the police practice to end the crime spree going on.  And they can clean up the election fraud.  It’s time the cities are forced to run honestly.

So, I’m grateful that the Left are no longer my problem.  Now I’m waiting for the Right to step up and begin to organize and manage the new nation that they represent.  That is my Fourth of July wish.

Codevilla Proposes a Plan for Avoiding a Civil War – Federalism

Anthony Codevilla lays out how he sees restoring a way of life would have to take place in the United States.  And he clearly says that neither side is going to convince the other side to go along with it.  But he thinks the only way to avoid actual warfare is for the two sides to separate along regional or even local areas and ignore each other.  In this way the larger country can still cooperate on things like roads and armed forces without having to completely split the country in two.

It’s very long but worth reading if you enjoy an historian’s recapping of the historical precedence for re-establishing a conquered nation.  He goes into the way he thinks a national leader has to act to have this movement succeed.  And he does say that a strong leader will be necessary.

Separation is Now Complete

Even a year ago there were plenty of people who honestly hoped that the Left and Right could paper over their differences and find a path forward that both sides could live with.  Sort of a Missouri Compromise for the 21st century.

I don’t believe that is any longer the case.  Sure, there are some people who make believe that everything will work out in the end and really this is all for the best.  But all of those people are on the Left.  Although some of them think of themselves as being in the middle.  But if you see what they are willing to tolerate then not calling them the Left is inaccurate.  Anyway, the Left figures that if they just keep doing what they’re doing now, we’ll either see the light of their day or just give up and go along with the inevitability of the right side of history.

But other than people who are completely unaware of what is happening on the ground everyone on the Right knows that we cannot live with the Left any longer.  The hatred they have for us is visceral and the tactics they are willing to use to get their way are not tolerable.

So, here we are.  We know what we need, separation.  What we don’t know is how or when.  It seems fairly apparent that it won’t be an easy process.  I’ll even say it won’t be bloodless, although, I don’t think we’re talking about a shooting war with tanks and drones and ground divisions.  I think it will be something like the Fall of the Soviet Union.  Things at the edges will start to unravel and the powers that be will lose control of the narrative and then start to lose control of events.  To a small extent it’s already happening.  The Red State governors stopped even paying lip service to President “Mask Up!” and just declared the COVID fiasco over.  And they made it stick.  And even the Blue State governors understood that they couldn’t keep the charade going any longer.  What will be the next domino to fall?  Will it be illegal aliens?  Will Texas start rounding them up on its own or denying them work and forcing them to leave?  Maybe.  Will the Supreme Court tell Alabama they can’t stop abortions after the heartbeat of the baby and will Alabama ignore them?  Maybe.

So, nobody knows how all this will go but we do know what we don’t want.  We don’t want BLM destroying our lives.  In fact, we don’t want affirmative action anymore.  If the Supreme Court thinks affirmative action is constitutional then the Supreme Court has to go.  We don’t want to defund the police.  Say what you will about the police.  Some of them are thugs too.  But my odds of avoiding crime are a hell of a lot better if the boys in blue are keeping the Bloods and the Crips on a very short leash.  We want color blind justice so that a melting pot like the United States was can come close to treating everyone sort of fairly.  We don’t want to be told what we can and cannot say or believe and we don’t want anyone telling us who we have to like or dislike.  And we damn sure know we need to be able to protect ourselves with our own weapons.  We may even need to protect ourselves from the Federal government.  The FBI has become the KGB, an enemy of the free people and we have more to fear from them than from any Russian threat.

We know we’re two different nations.  All we need now is a way to make it official.

So that’s what I think.  Does anyone disagree and think we’ll be able to meet the Left in the middle?  Let me know.  I’m always interested in other opinions.

What is the Next Big Surprise?

In corporate engineering one of the big buzzwords is risk management.  We’re supposed to evaluate all the possible risks and rate them according to probability and severity.  This allows you to plan a remediation or prevention action for each possible risk.  This allows us to kid ourselves into thinking we are in control of what will happen to us in the future.

But in reality, there is always an X factor, the unknown unknown, the thing that we don’t know that we don’t know.  And there is Murphy’s Law that says that the worst thing possible always happens at the worst possible time.  What that means is that when a system is already stressed the chances that something bad will become something terrible becomes almost inevitable.

Regardless of ideology, both the Left and the Right will admit that when the United States was the sole superpower in the 1990s foreign policy was more predictable.  No one messed with the big dog.  Not the Russians, not the Chinese or any of the regional powers like Iran or India or Pakistan.  Sure, they could pull some proxy mischief in Lebanon or Somalia or some other rat hole but nobody would go toe to toe with us back then.  And that made it a lot easier for us to make policy.  We moved carefully and slowly.  But we could be sure that as long as we took it nice and easy and actually knew what would be the outcome of our actions that no one would gainsay it.  The Europeans would gripe but accommodate us.  The Arabs would threaten and then do nothing.  The Russians and the Chinese would condemn and posture and then do nothing.  And all the small countries would go to the United Nations and draft a resolution condemning us which we would veto when it got to the Security Council.

But those days are long gone.  Since then, we have frittered away our superpower status chasing Al Qaeda and ISIS psychopaths from Pakistan to Morocco.  We disillusioned a generation of American warriors in the sands of Iraq and we have handed over our industrial wealth to the Chinese.  Our military has become a political football to be kicked around over transgender and feminist talking points.  And now witch hunts to uncover white supremacists in the rank and file has taken unit cohesion to an all-time low.  No one thinks we are in charge anymore.

Imagine if you can the chances that China, Vietnam, Japan, North and South Korea, Myanmar, Russia, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt and Libya will between themselves figure out an equitable arrangement that will satisfy them all.  When we were calling the shots, we could make the bigger, stronger countries toe the line and only the rat holes were given a pass.  The outlaws like North Korea or Iran were isolated commercially and socially.  But now the Chinese are openly mocking us when we condemn their brutal tactics against the Uighurs.  They only have to point to our cities burning during the BLM riots and both our weakness and moral confusion are self-documented.

China is now openly pursuing its own interests everywhere from Equatorial Africa to Latin America and Russia is involved militarily and commercially in the Middle East in Iran, Turkey and Syria.  Russia’s saber rattling in the Ukraine and other parts of its former domain in Eastern Europe highlight that NATO isn’t what it once was.  And speaking of Europe, it is in upheaval.  The madness that has infected the United States is just as virulent there.  The EU is in total disarray and nationalist movements are springing up all over threatening the very existence of the EU.

So, what’s my point?  Alright, when 9/11/2001 happened we were no longer the world military hegemon we had once been.  We were already starting down the road of de-industrializing our country in favor of Chinese outsourcing but we still had a very, very potent military and we were still for the most part a unified country with a deep streak of patriotism.  We could rally the whole country, Democrats and Republicans and put together a war effort that would up-end a country like Afghanistan in weeks.  We could hammer a medium sized country like Iraq in a few weeks too.

9/11 was our last big surprise and we had the wherewithal to answer the challenge.  But what about the next big surprise?

What about now?  If we were attacked by Iran or if the Taliban staged a major attack in Afghanistan would Americans come rallying around and enlist to do their part.  I don’t think they would.  The feminized millennial males would just mumble something about Gaia under their breath and go back to drinking their soy lattes.  If Joe Biden got on tv and begged the Iraq and Afghanistan veterans to support him in a new emergency I think they’d throw a lamp through the screen.   This government and the media have vilified the flag and the national anthem and the soldiers they stand for.  They’ve told us that what we stand for is racism and hate.  Well, then let Joe Biden get Antifa and BLM to fight his wars.  The rest of us should take a knee.

I’m not sure that the next big surprise will be a terrorist or military attack.  It could be a fuel shortage or an agricultural blight or even another bio-attack.  The point is there isn’t any good will left in the country.  Nobody will be rallying around anything.  If the BLM riots get out of control and one of the big cities in the blue states burns down, I don’t think any of the red staters will care in the least.  They’ll probably cheer.  In fact, I’m hoping Derek Chauvin is acquitted of all charges and Minneapolis is burned to the ground from end to end by the mostly peaceful Antifa and BLM thugs.  I think it would be the best possible outcome.  Minnesota would reap what they sowed.  It would be what Obama was so fond of calling a teachable moment.

When the next big surprise happens, it will end the illusion that this is one country.  And that will be a very good thing.

American Mind Has an Interesting Article – The Separation

This is a pretty long article  with a good amount of prefacing discussion about where we are as a country.

The Separation

But by the end he gets to the nub of what he thinks we need to do, loosen the Union:

“The Separation is not a departure as much as return to the Constitution of the founders. The Articles of Confederation foundered on the three key functions required of the federal power: an effective army, a unified foreign policy, and a treasury that can incur liabilities for national functions. The federal government would retain its authority and taxing power for these functions.

Activities outside these spheres and the refereeing of interstate issues would be seated with the states. Broader latitude is provided to the states to effect and fund policies for their citizens. Blue states would no longer “subsidize” Red states. Greater funding for everything from climate change to social programs will be possible. The dust would be blown off the 9th and 10th Amendments.”

When he gets down to the amendments to the constitution it becomes a little less clear cut to me whether this is the simplest way:

“The Separation can be effected with a limited number of amendments to the Constitution: 1) a new amendment circumscribing the federal mandate to conform with the core functions above, 2) adjustment of the 16th Amendment to tie the taxing power to these functions, 3) elimination of the 17th Amendment so the state legislatures again elect Senators, 4) a new amendment formally providing the Supreme Court the power of judicial review but focusing that power on matters related to federal and interstate issues (i.e., the final word on the right to bear arms, free speech and abortion would be in state courts), and 5) a new amendment providing federal term limits.”

But this kind of idea is I think the direction we need to go.  What we have is a marriage that isn’t working.  Giving each side some space is the best option.  Whether it will happen is the question we have to answer.

Political Realities of America – Part 1

After what we’ve seen on display during the last four years it seems clear to me that the people in charge of the Democrat party have a stranglehold on almost all the levers of power that exist at the national level in the United States.  And more than that, they control the majority of the power at the state and local level.

It’s probably easier to name the ones they don’t control.  The Republicans control the legislatures and state houses of about half the states and have a hair thin majority in the US Senate.  That’s it.  Our side has almost none of the major media companies, corporations, universities, non-profits, professional societies, unions, banks, financial institutions, publishers or any of the departments of the bureaucracy that we call the Deep State.  Even the Supreme Court that we supposedly have appointed by a six to three margin heaps defeat after defeat on us.  We don’t even control the capital cities of the states that we do hold.  Basically, every city large enough to have a welfare population is controlled by the Democrats.

This is not a new situation.  This has been the status quo for as long as there has been a United States.  The descendants of the New England Puritans have been expanding and consolidating their control over the areas that they’ve colonized since they got here in the seventeenth century.  They control the Northeast, the Great Lakes region, The Pacific Coast and they’ve been expanding off of those areas continuously.  Now they’ve reached down to Virginia in the east and the wretched Californians that ruined their own state are destroying Colorado, Arizona, Nevada and soon enough, the rest of the Mountain West.

They’ve got a very effective model.  It has nothing to do with freedom, equality or anything like that.  It’s strictly a matter of gaining control by power politics.  They’ll paper it over by claiming that they are fighting the evil racists or whatever bogeyman they’ve concocted to bamboozle the simple-minded poor people they pay off for votes.  But if buying votes isn’t enough, they have perfected stealing elections by fabricating votes in urban districts.

All of this has been on open display since Election Day.  Unprecedented vote totals were unleashed in the early hours of November 4th as soon as it became clear that President Trump was going to win in Pennsylvania, Georgia and Wisconsin.  Not even a fig leaf was maintained that a fair election was going on.  The Republican poll watchers were forced out and the trucks backed up to the buildings and poured in the bogus ballots by the hundreds of thousands.

At this point in the process it’s entirely possible that the Supreme Court will be so ashamed of allowing a presidential election be stolen in plain view that they will do something to stop it.  I’d say it’s fifty-fifty.  John Roberts is a worthless, spineless traitor so if we win it will be at best a 5-4 vote.  But even if the President prevails and we get a four-year reprieve it is still necessary to look realistically at the way this country works and plan accordingly.  And if the Supreme Court stabs us in the back again then we have two months to decide how we will deal with the facts on the ground.

I think we have three choices.  Fold, flee or fight.  Surrender to the hive, leave the areas under their control, or fight them.

And I’m guessing it’s not completely clear to anyone which of these choices is best.

So, let’s look first at Option 1, Fold.  Think about it.  You know plenty of people who don’t believe in the leftist madness but who have responsible positions in the corporate and government circles who have to spout the party line and burn incense to Baal.  Their kids go to Yale and Columbia and they write their memos that pledge allegiance to diversity and inclusion and make sure they have a man in a dress working for them in the HR department.  Sure, they have to choke back the cognitive dissonance when they say the things that are expected of them.  But they get paid very well to do it.  They get all the perks that go along with membership in the lower ranks of the managerial elite.  They live in safe neighborhoods; their kids go to the best schools and all the right doors get opened to them in all avenues of life.  They belong to the right clubs and organizations.  They vacation on Martha’s Vineyard or the Hamptons and they get invited to all the best parties and gatherings.

I even know people who say they can keep up this charade while still protecting their kids from the madness that goes along with the propaganda and proselytizing that the sexual deviants that run our public schools practice.  Maybe they can.  Maybe it’s possible to live inside the hive in complete disguise and maintain a normal life.  If it is then my hat’s off to these people.  I don’t seem to be able to do it.  Listening to the proclamations from the Ministries of Peace, Truth and Love are just too much for my little brain to ignore.  But I’m not everyone.  So, there are probably a bunch of people who will take the blue pill and get on with their lives inside the hive.

How about Option 2, Flee.  Let’s define that a little bit.  It could mean moving from a blue city to the surrounding rural areas of a red state.  Or it could be moving from a blue state to a red state.  Or it could mean leaving the country.  All of these are calculations that a man has to make.  Leaving a city is the easiest choice.  It’s a thing you’d do even if the city wasn’t a political prison.  Lots of folks have always left cities in order to take advantage of the lower costs and property values associated with getting out of the crowded and expensive cities.  But I can personally attest to the unsatisfying result of moving from a blue city to a blue state suburb.  It will lessen your chances of suffering violent crime and give your kids half decent schools but that’s about it.  Now these first two choices end up with someone living in a red state.  That is something.  And if the state is deep red then you will notice a big change.  Living in a place where you’re still allowed to say what you really think and surrounded by mostly normal people is like a dream come true for a deplorable living in a blue state.  And in such a place the schools will be much less destructive of normal ideas about the world.  But even in red states you’re going to deal with the realities of living in America.  Affirmative action and all the other programs that take away the freedom of association and choice that we’re supposed to enjoy is still the law of the land.  So, the move isn’t a cure for the American condition just a less serious case.  And as the leftists tighten the screws through the courts and their corporate allies it will be less and less of an improvement.  Now the only way to completely escape the leftists is to leave the country.  But that brings up a separate predicament.  Where exactly is it better than here?  Moving to Canada or Australia or Europe is at best a mixed situation.  None of those places have even the pretense of a bill of rights.  And all of them are run by elites that have approximately the same program as our masters here.  There may be some places that would be less oppressive like some of the eastern European countries but think of the dislocation you and your family would experience being a stranger in a strange land.  But I know many people who are thinking of exactly this trade-off.

And now we come to Option 3, Fight.  But that’s a long story and I’ll keep that for Part 2.  But I will say that the first two option are pretty awful for someone who believes in the ideals that America is supposed to represent.  You could see why staying and fighting would be the option you would want to take.  We’ll talk about that next.

The Question Has Been Answered

For a long time I have been trying to decide if there was a way to get back to where we were even sixteen years ago when even a country divided by war and partisan allegiance could rally around the institutions of the American government and respect the processes and practices that allowed us to work through our differences in a peaceful and reasonable way.

Even after the lunacy that the Left unleashed in their cities during the BLM riots I thought that a presidential election could allow us to find a way forward based on the will of the majority.  Well, that’s been shown to be an illusion.  Based on the way the election was run in the Democrat cities in the swing states it’s crystal clear to me that there is no way forward for the United States as one nation.  Even if the Supreme Court does their duty and negates all the fraudulent votes and awards the win to President Trump there is no longer any credibility to the idea that the Left will deal with us as countrymen.  They have shown us that we are their enemies and at this point we have no choice but to reciprocate that.

I do not know how this will play out.  There are so many options that run the gamut from polite dissolution of the union to full blown civil war that I won’t even attempt to figure out how this will go.  But what it does mean is that we need to start looking at the facts on the ground and come up with strategies and tactics to start moving forward to a resolution of our status.  For those who live in occupied territory (blue states) you may want to figure out how to move to a relatively free area (red states).  You may want to start to start getting involved in the political process to try and steer the changes that will start to occur.  There will be all kinds of things we’ll have to start thinking about and doing but the first thing is to get it into your head that this isn’t going to go away.  You’re going to have to pick a side.  Even if President Trump is awarded the election win by the Supreme Court that will only provide a short respite during which you can get your affairs in order.

If Biden is allowed to steal the election then expect things to get a lot worse very quickly.  Changes in the law will curtail your freedom of speech and religion and maybe even your right to own a gun.  This site may be shut down due to government censorship.  But whatever happens try to act logically and work toward goals that minimize the impact of government control on your ability to live your life the way you want.  Look for like minded people to form a network with.  Use this network to develop a social group that can provide a community that reinforces the things you believe in and protects you and your family from the controlled external environment that surrounds us.

So, if you consider yourself on the right of the left/right divide then know that we aren’t going back to a better time when there was one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.  There are two nations and only our nation cares about the rest of those things.  Be alert and be careful.  These are going to be very challenging times.
