{"id":13657,"date":"2021-02-25T10:13:47","date_gmt":"2021-02-25T15:13:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/orionscoldfire.com\/?p=13657"},"modified":"2021-02-25T10:13:47","modified_gmt":"2021-02-25T15:13:47","slug":"25feb2021-ocf-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/orionscoldfire.com\/index.php\/2021\/02\/25\/25feb2021-ocf-update\/","title":{"rendered":"25FEB2021 &#8211; OCF Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday I cranked out a few thousand words to a story I&#8217;m working on and it felt great!\u00a0 Nothing but positive energy.\u00a0 Writing about something with no relation to Leftists or Wokeness was absolutely rejuvenating.\u00a0 So I&#8217;m going to start writing a little fiction everyday.<\/p>\n<p>Spring is starting to make some headway here at the compound.\u00a0 I actually left the snow on the lower driveway this last snowfall and it&#8217;s melting sloppily on its own.\u00a0 This is big.\u00a0 By the end of February my back is usually pretty beat up.\u00a0 And because of this I&#8217;ve been very slow to ramp up my use of the rower but with the specter of snow removal slowly receding in to the rear view mirror I will start building up on the rowing.<\/p>\n<p>One of the negative effects of the spring season is the reappearance of the black bears in the area.\u00a0 Last year they flattened Camera Girl&#8217;s beloved bird feeding pole.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/orionscoldfire.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/DSC04257-scaled.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10862\" src=\"https:\/\/orionscoldfire.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/DSC04257-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2560\" height=\"2490\" srcset=\"https:\/\/orionscoldfire.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/DSC04257-scaled.jpg 2560w, https:\/\/orionscoldfire.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/DSC04257-300x292.jpg 300w, https:\/\/orionscoldfire.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/DSC04257-1024x996.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/orionscoldfire.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/DSC04257-768x747.jpg 768w, https:\/\/orionscoldfire.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/DSC04257-1536x1494.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/orionscoldfire.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/DSC04257-2048x1992.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 2560px) 100vw, 2560px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This year she has vowed to pre-emptively take in the feeders when the local animal control warnings go out.\u00a0 We shall see.<\/p>\n<p>And at long last the replacement part for Camera Girl&#8217;s beloved dishwasher has arrived from Wuhan, China.
