Corporations throughout the United States and probably the rest of the developed world have codified the madness of the last year in a new and improved version of the Human Resources mantra of diversity.\u00a0 Now they have installed a whole \u201coffice\u201d of its own called Diversity, Inclusion and Equity.\u00a0 And what do those things mean?\u00a0 Apparently, whatever they need them to mean this week.\u00a0 How exactly can diversity which means incorporating many different things increase equity which means making things the same? \u00a0And how can you say something is inclusive when the specific and overarching intent of the whole endeavor is to exclude a major component of the population, namely white people.<\/p>\n
I said white people.\u00a0 And in a general way that is the case.\u00a0 You could say that in the past white women and white homosexual men were excused from the exclusion group but lately their special status has begun to erode.\u00a0 And I have to admit it\u2019s quite gratifying.\u00a0 It\u2019s nice when others find out what it\u2019s like in the barrel.\u00a0 In fact, I notice lately that now Asians and Hispanics are beginning to show signs of being thrown under the bus and sometimes, if they really offend, of being given honorary \u201cwhite man\u201d status to allow them to receive the full-on hate that is usually reserved for \u201cwhite supremacist\u201d monsters only.\u00a0 And, wonder of wonders, even some of the LGBTQ community, in fact the \u201cL\u201d at the front is being attacked for being trans-exclusionary (there is such a thing!).\u00a0 Lesbians who rebel at the idea that men in dresses must be allowed to have sex with them are being branded as TERFs (trans-exclusionary radical feminists).\u00a0 I probably don\u2019t have to tell you how hilarious I find that one.\u00a0 It reminds me of a joke this old guy that I used to work with twenty years ago used to say.\u00a0 Whenever a woman would catch him ogling her, he would defend himself by saying he was a lesbian trapped in a man\u2019s body looking for sisterly solidarity.\u00a0 Well now he could buy a purse and a wig and ogle to his heart\u2019s content.\u00a0 If any woman balked, he would shriek TERF! and automatically the woman would be forced to, at the very least, endure his leering.\u00a0 If not, she would risk being fired for sins against diversity and inclusion.<\/p>\n
Anyway, all this gibberish is just how the Left is punishing white people.\u00a0 Everyone working for a large corporation is paying the price.\u00a0 I\u2019ve spoken to people who say that managers use the concept of diversity to game the performance process used to make promotion and firing decisions.\u00a0 In a specific case a diversity hire was given the highest grade when she didn\u2019t even have enough training in her job position to allow her to do a single project in the work year.\u00a0 So, for no work she was rewarded with a big raise and then a promotion!\u00a0 And these performance evaluations are a zero-sum game.\u00a0 If someone gets the highest rating then someone else will get the lowest.\u00a0 Guess who that will be?\u00a0 That\u2019s right, the old white guy who is doing all the work in the department.\u00a0 And that will soon get him fired.\u00a0 But there are laughs to go around.\u00a0 Once the department gets too top heavy with diversity there really isn\u2019t anyone left to do the work.\u00a0 At that point the real work is farmed out to contractors who are allowed to be white guys and everyone wins!\u00a0 Well, except for the company that has to pay for redundant workers to make up for diversity.\u00a0 Eventually the real winners will be the Chinese who compete against these woke corporations and don\u2019t have the dead wood.<\/p>\n
But I\u2019ve taken a page out of the woke book.\u00a0 I\u2019ve opened up my own Office of Conformity, Exclusivity and Difference.\u00a0 In my organization you have to conform<\/strong> to my standards of normalcy to get me to give a damn about you.\u00a0 I strictly exclude<\/strong> anyone who believes in white privilege, gay marriage, intersectionality, critical race theory, hate crime, physician-assisted sexual mutilation of children or any other insanities they invent next.\u00a0 I exclude them from my circle of acquaintances or compassion.\u00a0 And I celebrate the differences<\/strong> that exist all around us.\u00a0 There are smart people and dumb people and men and women and graceful people and clumsy people and people who like art or literature or sports and those that dislike one or the other or all of these things.\u00a0 There are losers and winners in every size and color.\u00a0 And I think that\u2019s great.\u00a0 A black basketball player can make fifty million dollars a year because he can dunk a basket and that\u2019s great.\u00a0 And there is a white guy who can make a billion dollars a year because he invented PayPal and that\u2019s great.\u00a0 And I can\u2019t do either of those things and that\u2019s great too.\u00a0 I believe myself to be much more important to me<\/strong> than either of those guys.\u00a0 I\u2019d love to have their money but I\u2019d still rather be me than either one of those jokers.<\/p>\n So, there are the limits of my selection process for acceptance in my organization.\u00a0 It\u2019s wonderful to have such power, playing godling with other people.\u00a0 But at least my office is based on real value.\u00a0 And in the long run I bet I have a better result and a much nicer group of people.\u00a0 Sure, I\u2019d miss out on getting to know the guy in the wig and the sundress from the Biden administration and the Antifa guy who practices bestiality and all of the people with BLM signs on their cars and yards.\u00a0 But somehow, I\u2019m willing to take that chance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Corporations throughout the United States and probably the rest of the developed world have codified the madness of the last year in a new and<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_mi_skip_tracking":false,"_exactmetrics_sitenote_active":false,"_exactmetrics_sitenote_note":"","_exactmetrics_sitenote_category":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[5],"tags":[2988,305,604,2349],"class_list":["post-14070","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-current-events","tag-conformity-exclusion-and-difference","tag-diversity","tag-diversity-is-our-strength","tag-diversity-is-our-weakness"],"yoast_head":"\n
