So, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy stated pretty openly<\/a> that at a Republican House Conference being held this week he will allow Liz Cheney to be replaced by Rep. Elise Stefanik.\u00a0 Now don\u2019t get me wrong.\u00a0 I\u2019ve heard nothing but bad things about Stefanik.\u00a0 She\u2019s just another Congress critter that cares nothing about me or you.\u00a0 But she knows which side her bread is buttered on and that Donald Trump is the one handing out the butter.\u00a0 So, she\u2019ll keep her mouth shut and not help the Democrats when they\u2019re going after our side.<\/p>\n

To me, the only thing that makes any of this interesting is that I am a great adherent of the concept of the vendetta.\u00a0 Basically, it\u2019s a genetic and cultural predisposition.\u00a0 The idea of just revenge or even spite is one of my primary motivations nowadays.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m of the opinion that we are not likely to prevail over the progressives in the federal elections ever again.\u00a0 But what we can do is punish the quislings who got us here.\u00a0 People like Liz Cheney and Mitt Romney and Lisa Murkowski are our enemies.\u00a0 They have damaged this country and will continue to do so for as long as they are allowed to represent us.\u00a0 Kicking them out of office is a sacred duty but more than that, it is a schadenfreudian delight.\u00a0 Since they\u2019re not technically Democrats they aren\u2019t going to be offered the sinecures that get handed out to friends of the Deep State.\u00a0 Liz will have to settle for a spot on a crappy neo-con think tank and maybe some face time on CNN.\u00a0 Lisa Murkowski will be forced to become a deck swab on an Alaskan king crab trawler.\u00a0 And Mitt Romney will become a male model for dental implant commercials.\u00a0 And that is as it should be.\u00a0 These are terrible people.\u00a0 Discomfiting them is a good thing.\u00a0 And if I get a good laugh when it happens that\u2019s just karma doing its job.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m under no illusions that we have the votes that will be needed to beat the Democrats at the ballot box.\u00a0 They have already shown that they will commit massive fraud to get their way.\u00a0 Until we are willing to say no to their unconstitutional tyranny, we will continue to lose ground in the culture wars and everywhere else.<\/p>\n

But at least, at the very bare minimum, we must not let traitors and grifters give away our votes in the halls of Washington.\u00a0 George Bush I, George Bush II, John McCain, Mitt Romney and if they\u2019d had their way, JEB! Bush were who we were given to be our representatives in the White House.\u00a0 They were supposed to be conservatives.\u00a0 It only takes a cursory look at their records to know that not only weren\u2019t they conservatives, they don\u2019t even know what conservative means.<\/p>\n

I think the House conference meeting is Wednesday.\u00a0 If it\u2019s on CSPAN I\u2019ll make a point to watch it live.\u00a0 I\u2019ll pop some corn.\u00a0 It should be wonderful.\u00a0 And next year when all ten of the house reps who voted to impeach President Trump, are up for re-election I\u2019ll be watching to see how they do in their primaries.\u00a0 If they lose in their primaries, I\u2019m not particularly interested in whether the Republicans retain the seat.\u00a0 I mean, it would be nice but as I said I don\u2019t think we\u2019ll vote our way out of this.\u00a0 But just knowing that these clowns will have to get jobs will bring a smile to my face.\u00a0 And it will be good for our politics.\u00a0 Who knows?\u00a0 Maybe someday the Republicans will become known as the formerly stupid party.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
