I wanted to write something for Thanksgiving.\u00a0 I didn\u2019t want to pollute the holiday with doom and gloom but in the present debased state of the world we find ourselves in I was unsure if I could find something fitting.\u00a0 However, that\u2019s just the doom and gloom speaking.\u00a0 Most of us have many blessings to be thankful for.\u00a0 For myself I have children and grandchildren and a wonderful wife (don\u2019t let Camera Girl know I said that) and have had enormous good fortune over the course of my life.\u00a0 If at this stage I no longer live in a free country, well, I\u2019ll have to figure that out.\u00a0 My ancestors lived in a gangster state and they managed to live and raise their families.\u00a0 True, they left for a better place but they had had their lives in the old country and despair wasn\u2019t part of it.<\/p>\n
Well, we\u2019ll have to find our way in these troubled times.\u00a0 And we will.\u00a0 From my point of view either there will be a revolt against the madness or I\u2019ll need to find a better place.\u00a0 Maybe the revolt will only be a self-segregation of the normal people maintaining a society of sanity embedded in a matrix of lunacy.\u00a0 Maybe the Red States will become free or maybe they\u2019ll loosen the Union enough to allow us to live our own way.\u00a0 Or maybe it\u2019ll all go to hell and I\u2019ll get the hell out.\u00a0 But whichever way it goes despair is a stupid, weak reaction.<\/p>\n
I\u2019ll do whatever has to be done for me and mine and I\u2019ll look for good people wherever I can find them.\u00a0 What I won\u2019t do is pledge allegiance to the gangsters who\u2019ve taken over the government and all the other institutions and tried to make me say that \u201ctwo plus two equals five.\u201d\u00a0 This may be the richest place on earth but I am not afraid to live in a poorer place if it lets me think for myself.\u00a0 Besides, this place is quickly turning into a third world banana republic.\u00a0 That should make it that much easier to reform it or that much easier to leave.<\/p>\n
So, there\u2019s my crazy message of hope on Thanksgiving.\u00a0 I am thankful that God has blessed me with great wealth, the people I love.\u00a0 And he gave me a great gift of being able to see clearly what is around me and knowing the difference between what is real and what is imaginary.\u00a0 And at dinner I\u2019ll enjoy my overpriced turkey dinner with my family and I\u2019ll enjoy myself for a day before getting back to thinking of how to navigate in the madhouse that is Dementia Joe\u2019s America.<\/p>\n
Have a happy Thanksgiving.\u00a0 Enjoy your time with those you love and eat some fattening food and laugh and talk and make plans for Christmas and buy some overpriced gifts for the kids.\u00a0 Do all the fun things we used to do when this was still America.\u00a0 There\u2019s plenty of time next week for gloom and doom.\u00a0 But don\u2019t let it get to you.\u00a0 We\u2019ll figure something out for ourselves and one day we\u2019ll leave the lunatics behind and build a better world for us and ours.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
