Fredo went against the Family.\u00a0 No not the Cuomo Crime Family.\u00a0 He went against the #MeToo family.\u00a0 So, they took him out on the lake and now he sleeps with the fish.\u00a0 Don Lemon will now be the sole contestant for the title \u201cStupidest Human on Television.\u201d\u00a0 Without Fredo CNN will lose a whole demographic of viewers.\u00a0 The short attention span viewer will permanently tune CNN out.\u00a0 They\u2019ll drift away to reality tv or possibly watch shiny spinning objects.\u00a0 They\u2019ve lost their man.<\/p>\n
Seriously, as much as I despise the people who fired him, I\u2019m delighted to hear that the last of the Cuomos are now unemployed.\u00a0 From Mario to Fredo they have infested New York politics and embarrassed Italian Americans for over fifty years.\u00a0 To never have to see Fredo\u2019s \u201cdeer in the headlights\u201d expression again on the television is a blessing.<\/p>\n
Of course, I haven\u2019t considered whether Fredo might find something outside of news.\u00a0 Maybe something in the entertainment industry.\u00a0 I know it\u2019s probably beyond him but maybe he could become a rodeo clown.\u00a0 It\u2019s honest work and his face would be an asset.\u00a0 He wouldn\u2019t need makeup and I\u2019m sure the bulls and bucking broncs will be fascinated by his dim-witted stare.\u00a0 Or possibly he could become a carny.\u00a0 Not one of the barkers.\u00a0 That\u2019s too skilled.\u00a0 Maybe he could throw sawdust on the beer barf.\u00a0 That\u2019s not so hard.\u00a0 That\u2019s it!\u00a0 His next gig will be beer barf sawdust guy.\u00a0 And if he studies hard and applies himself, one day, he could become the cotton candy guy.\u00a0 Only in America.<\/p>\n
Really my only worry is the possibility of a next generation.\u00a0 Could Andrew and Chris have progeny that might one day show up in the public space?\u00a0 I tend to think this is unlikely.\u00a0 Based on the drop off in intelligence between Mario and his sons I assume the next generation will fall right out of the human spectrum and end up with IQ\u2019s in the single digits.\u00a0 That would put them in a class with planaria and other flatworms.\u00a0 Even CNN couldn\u2019t employ them.<\/p>\n
So, I guess this is it.\u00a0 Farewell Fredo.\u00a0 We hardly knew ye.\u00a0 Or we hardly wanted to know ye.\u00a0 Or something.<\/p>\n
