4 – 8 inches of snow projected.\u00a0 Probably 4 inches on the ground already.\u00a0 And the obligatory freezing rain at the end to provide the literal icing on the cake.\u00a0 Blah, blah, blah, I hate snow.\u00a0 Blah, blah, blah, I hate New England.<\/p>\n

And we’re back.\u00a0 Sorry about the obligatory “winter in New England” rant.\u00a0 But it’s in my contract so blah, blah, blah.<\/p>\n

Well, next week starts March.\u00a0 The days are definitely getting longer and life is speeding up here at the Compound.\u00a0 I purchased the (hopefully) last gas can’s worth of fuel for the snow blower.\u00a0 I’m more than halfway through the latest (for me) Galaxy’s Edge novel and it’s good.\u00a0 Wish I could say as much for my novel.\u00a0 I have to face it.\u00a0 Running a blog takes up most of my free time and that means writing is the loser.\u00a0 I’ll have to figure something out.<\/p>\n

I’ve been looking at a couple of options for selling photos and photo books.\u00a0 It looks like it should be relatively easy to set up and I’ll include links on the site.\u00a0 Doing some advance research for the July trip to Yellowstone and the Tetons.\u00a0 I’ll definitely have to pare down the list of photo equipment I planned to bring.\u00a0 But there’s plenty of time to do that.<\/p>\n

It’s remarkable to watch Dementia Joe become an even bigger loser every day.\u00a0 The only true thing Barry Obama ever said was that no one should ever underestimate Biden’s ability to foul things up.\u00a0 It truly is his super power.\u00a0 But it’s not a mystery.\u00a0 He’s just a lazy idiot.\u00a0 Lying about things that fool stupid people at the expense of the good of the United States has always been his go to plan.\u00a0 And when you’re just a crooked senator or the Vice President it wasn’t that critical.\u00a0 But when you’re pretending to be the President of the United States it kind of is.<\/p>\n

I think the general feeling across the country on both sides is, “How is this guy going to keep this up for almost three more years?”\u00a0 That’s a really long time.\u00a0 Will there be anything left of the country by then?\u00a0 I guess we’ll find out.<\/p>\n

The mask mandate is retreating at top speed now.\u00a0 Only the school requirements are still there and that is one of the most aggravating ones because of the illogic of masking the least vulnerable.\u00a0 It highlights how beholden the Democrat Party is to the teachers’ unions.\u00a0 Good.\u00a0 That will continue to alienate parents in the run up to the November elections.<\/p>\n

The Ukraine debacle will really hurt the economy once we have $6\/gal gas to deal with.\u00a0 That might actually tip us into a recession.\u00a0 Stagflation right from the dictionary definition.\u00a0 Well, they say Americans are too fat.\u00a0 This will give us all a chance to go on an involuntary diet.\u00a0 Oatmeal for breakfast, lunch and dinner.<\/p>\n

I’m curious to see how Trump’s social media experiment goes.\u00a0 It will take a while to know if there’s something solid there.\u00a0 The initial excitement will have to wear off first.\u00a0 After all, I’ve never been completely sure what Twitter actually does that’s useful.\u00a0 Amazon’s business model and Google’s ads I understand.\u00a0 Guess we’ll find out.<\/p>\n

So at some point I’ll disappear for a few hours to move the white stuff.\u00a0 If anything\u00a0 interesting shows up I’ll opine.\u00a0 Enjoy the rest of the morning.<\/p>\n
