Vice President Pence (VPP) \u2013 I\u2019m right here (under his breath) as always<\/em>.<\/p>\n

PT \u2013 Good.\u00a0 Look Mike I need to talk to Kennedy.<\/p>\n

VPP \u2013 Supreme Court Justice Kennedy?<\/p>\n

PT \u2013 Well obviously I don\u2019t mean dead Teddy.\u00a0 Yeah, Justice Kennedy.\u00a0 I need to advance my agenda and since Congress is hopeless, a new SCOTUS appointment feels like the right thing.\u00a0 Summon him to my office and make it snappy.<\/p>\n

VPP \u2013 Mr. President, you can\u2019t summon a supreme court justice, no one can.<\/p>\n

PT \u2013 Well then ask him to lunch at the White House.<\/p>\n

VPP \u2013 Certainly, when would you like to meet with him?<\/p>\n

PT \u2013 Today.<\/p>\n

VPP \u2013 But suppose he\u2019s already scheduled for a meeting or a case?<\/p>\n

PT \u2013 Pence, come on man!\u00a0 Show me something here.\u00a0 I\u2019m starting to think I should have replaced you with Lying Ted.\u00a0 Alright, have it your way.\u00a0 Ask him when he can come.<\/p>\n

VPP \u2013 What should I tell him is the subject of the meeting?<\/p>\n

PT \u2013 Pastrami and corned beef.<\/p>\n

VPP \u2013 What?<\/p>\n

PT \u2013 We will be discussing the finer points of New York Deli sandwiches.\u00a0 That should get him.<\/p>\n

VPP \u2013 Yes Mr. President.<\/p>\n

Scene 2: Two Weeks Later, White House Dining Room<\/p>\n

PT \u2013 Well Tony, do you want anymore sauerkraut on that plate or maybe the potato salad.<\/p>\n

Justice Kennedy (JK) \u2013 No thank you Mr. President.\u00a0 I couldn\u2019t eat another thing.<\/p>\n

PT \u2013 Please Tony call me Don.\u00a0 All my friends do.\u00a0 Well, except the ones I don\u2019t like.<\/p>\n

JK \u2013 Okay Donnie.<\/p>\n

PT \u2013 Just Don.\u00a0 Let\u2019s keep things friendly here.<\/p>\n

JK \u2013 Sure Don, sure.<\/p>\n

PT \u2013 Okay.\u00a0 So, you\u2019re probably wondering why I called you in for this meeting.\u00a0 I mean in addition to the salted cured meats.<\/p>\n

JK \u2013 Can I guess it has something to do with my retirement?<\/p>\n

PT \u2013 Bingo.\u00a0 See you\u2019re a smart guy.\u00a0 You know what\u2019s what.<\/p>\n

JK \u2013 Well Don, I hope you\u2019re not going to try to convince me to retire before I\u2019m ready.<\/p>\n

PT \u2013 Nonsense, I would never try to force anyone to do anything he wasn\u2019t ready to.<\/p>\n

JK \u2013 Good Don, because it would just spoil our friendship.<\/p>\n

PT \u2013 Right, right, sure.\u00a0 Say I was just wondering do you do much golfing?<\/p>\n

JK \u2013 No Don, I don\u2019t.\u00a0 I\u2019m more of a yoga kind of guy.<\/p>\n

PT \u2013 Oh yoga, sure, sure of course, very, um, interesting.<\/p>\n

JK \u2013 I like that and modern expressionistic dance.<\/p>\n

JK \u2013 Yes it\u2019s one of my great passions.<\/p>\n

JK \u2013 Don, I\u2019ve been married to the same wonderful woman for more than fifty years.<\/p>\n

PT \u2013 So, Tony does your wife share your \u2026 passion for dance.<\/p>\n

JK \u2013 Oh, far from it.\u00a0 She thinks it\u2019s a silly thing for a man to do.\u00a0 She\u2019s very old fashioned that way.\u00a0 Not a free spirit like me, Don.<\/p>\n

PT \u2013 Yeah, I\u2019m starting to get the picture.\u00a0 So, Tony, I was wondering if you know that Trump Resorts for Retirees includes several very prestigious locales that you might find \u2026 interesting.<\/p>\n

JK \u2013 Where for instance?<\/p>\n

PT \u2013 Well, South Beach, Provincetown, Fire Island.<\/p>\n

JK \u2013 Those are all gay havens.<\/p>\n

PT \u2013 Are they?\u00a0 I didn\u2019t know.<\/p>\n

JK \u2013 Of course you do.\u00a0 What are you implying?<\/p>\n

PT \u2013 I\u2019m not implying anything.<\/p>\n

PT \u2013 So, Tony, you may not be aware but several of Trump Resorts properties have clothing optional sunbathing.<\/p>\n

PT \u2013 Oh, let me check this brochure.\u00a0 Well, by a strange coincidence, South Beach, Provincetown and Fire Island.<\/p>\n
