If there\u2019s anything Camera Girl enjoys it\u2019s watching Pat Sajak and Vanna White give away money to happy go lucky contestants spinning the wheel of fortune.\u00a0 But tonight, Dementia Joe pre-empted the show and now she is mightily ticked off at the loser.<\/p>\n
As she fast forwarded through the dvr recording she stopped at several points and I could hear Mumbly Joe going through his various emotive techniques.\u00a0 His hoarse whispering, his references to God, his fake anger.\u00a0 He did all of those.\u00a0 Now I\u2019m not a fanatical wheeler watcher like Camera Girl but even I was appalled that a useful and enjoyable television presentation was lost for the sake of letting that lunatic berate us and lie to us for half an hour or so.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m trying to think of a scenario where I would waste half an hour listening to Joe Biden.\u00a0 And restricting the question to probable cases, I can\u2019t think of a single one.\u00a0 I mean it\u2019s highly unlikely that he\u2019d confess to all his high crimes on a televised address.\u00a0 That would get me.\u00a0 But Joe\u2019s too good a liar to let that happen.<\/p>\n
I guess he has his best excuse at getting my attention during the State of the Union Address.\u00a0 But I skipped that.\u00a0 Would you count a debate with Donald Trump?\u00a0 I\u2019d call that incidental viewing because without Trump there just wouldn\u2019t be any reason to watch it.<\/p>\n
So, Joe is making the full court press to pass a gun control law.\u00a0 I guess it\u2019s possible that McConnell is cowardly enough to agree to something like that.\u00a0 I wouldn\u2019t be shocked if they cave.\u00a0 It is their defining feature to allow themselves to be stampeded off a cliff.\u00a0 We\u2019ll have to see just how stupid the Stupid Party is this time.<\/p>\n
So, we\u2019ll have to find something else to watch tonight.\u00a0 I\u2019ve recorded the 1972 Russian language sci-fi classic Solaris.\u00a0 Camera Girl would rather be boiled in oil than watch a sub-titled foreign film.\u00a0 So, it will have to wait until later.\u00a0 We\u2019ll watch an episode of the new Harry Bosch cable series.\u00a0 It\u2019s not as good as the previous seasons.\u00a0 Bosch\u2019s daughter who is played by an actress that looks like she weighs seventy-five pounds soaking wet is supposed to be an LAPD trainee.\u00a0 I\u2019ve had to watch her supposedly tackle male suspects and cuff them.\u00a0 My nine-year-old grandson could body slam her and not break a sweat.\u00a0 But it\u2019s slim pickings on television these days.<\/p>\n
It should be interesting to see if the Evil Party can somehow distract the voters from the crashing of the US economy.\u00a0 The old election saw was, \u201cIt\u2019s the economy, stupid!\u201d.\u00a0 But I wonder.\u00a0 Nowadays it might be said that, \u201cIt\u2019s the stupid, stupid!\u201d.\u00a0 After all, this is a country where approximately half of the people voted for Joe Biden, a seventy-eight-year-old mental patient, for president.\u00a0 I guess it\u2019s possible that America is just too stupid to protect itself from grifters and psychopaths.\u00a0 From my point of view, the good news is that we\u2019ve got the acid test in front of us.\u00a0 If there isn\u2019t a tidal wave of voters to throw the Democrats out then the Dissident Right is right.\u00a0 We\u2019re completely washed up and I\u2019ll need Plan B.\u00a0 So, five months to find out the answer.\u00a0 I guess I can wait.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
