genetic.\u00a0 So, it will come as no surprise to anyone that of all the days that mark this mid-term election year it is possible that August 16<sup>th<\/sup> will be my favorite.\u00a0 On that day Liz Cheney is very likely to be flushed down the toilet of electoral politics never to surface again.<\/p>\n<p>She will be booted out of the race for Wyoming\u2019s lone seat in the House of Representatives.\u00a0 The latest poll has her primary opponent up +22 with the poll at 52% to 30%.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Polling Data<\/strong><\/p>\n<table Wyoming I can see how truly poor a representative she is of that state.\u00a0 Everywhere I looked there were billboards praising the second amendment and the right to bear arms.\u00a0 I saw MAGA hats and flags all over the place.\u00a0 My favorite flag flying from the back of a pickup truck said Take America Back Again.<\/p>\n<p>Suffice it to say that Donald Trump has a lot of supporters in Wyoming.\u00a0 And Wyoming is split 70% &#8211; 30%, Republican \u2013 Democrat.\u00a0 Even if every Democrat switches parties to vote for Cheney in the primary she is going down in flames.\u00a0 On August 17<sup>th<\/sup> she\u2019ll return to the January 6<sup>th<\/sup> show trial as a lame duck witch hunter.\u00a0 She\u2019ll probably get all kinds of sympathy from her fellow nut jobs on the committee and they\u2019ll tell her how brave she is and how she\u2019s sure to land a great job at MSNBC or CNN like former Republican Joe Scarborough did.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>But no matter how this thing is spun it\u2019s gotta be an absolute gut punch for Liz.\u00a0 After all her father was the Vice President of the United States and the recognized Prince of Darkness by all members of the Left.\u00a0 That kind of lineage requires a certain level of respect.\u00a0 To be kicked to the curb by the MAGA crowd must really sting.\u00a0 After all we\u2019re just riff-raff.\u00a0 She\u2019s royalty.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And so, you can see why this reckoning appeals so strongly to my instinct for revenge.\u00a0 Liz is a creature of the Deep State.\u00a0 Her loyalty is to managerial state and she probably despises the deplorables much more than she competes against the Democrats.\u00a0 After all, they\u2019re friends and neighbors.\u00a0 Their kids go to the same schools.\u00a0 They vacation at the same places and they eat at the same four-star restaurants.<\/p>\n<p>So, circle August 16<sup>th<\/sup> on your calendar and prepare your favorite snack to stay up and relish the election returns on Real Clear Politics or whatever news source you favor for election results.\u00a0 I want to hear Liz Cheney\u2019s tearful or angry or just gob-smacked concession speech.\u00a0 I\u2019m hoping for angry.\u00a0 I want to know we got under her skin.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re nobodies.\u00a0 Our lives mean nothing to the Masters of the Universe who declare that we may not use gasoline to travel to work or eat meat at our family barbecues or walk on an airplane without a mask.\u00a0 But in just this little case we can make Liz Cheney sad.\u00a0 She\u2019ll have to be a pundit on a crappy cable channel instead of President of the United States.\u00a0 Her dream will be crushed because she was doing the Marie Antoinette act and ignored her constituency.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s still three weeks away.\u00a0 I\u2019m very impatient.\u00a0 That whole, \u201cRevenge is a dish best served up cold.\u201d thing is really annoying.\u00a0 But I\u2019ll do my best.\u00a0 Will it be enough?\u00a0 Nah.\u00a0 November will hold the promise of so much more.\u00a0 But Cheney is the microcosm of the whole thing.\u00a0 RINOs are the worst symptom of our present political cancer.\u00a0 They\u2019re the kill shot that prevents us from saving ourselves through elections.\u00a0 They\u2019re straight up traitors to their constituents.\u00a0 Because of that, flushing one of their careers down the drain is a schadenfreudian delight.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Bye-bye Liz.\u00a0 Don\u2019t think it hasn\u2019t been a pleasure, \u2026 because it hasn\u2019t!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Not satisfied with her imminent rejection by the state of Wyoming, Liz is looking ahead to being
