As the regime scribes breathlessly report the latest daily discovery of classified document caches in Hunter Biden\u2019s far-flung empire of crack and hooker safe houses let us see if we can decode the message being sent.\u00a0 Aside from the obvious signal to Dopey Joe that 2020 was his last rodeo are they telling all of us something too?<\/p>\n
Maybe not intentionally.\u00a0 But surely, they\u2019re aware that most people no longer think the politicians call the shots in Washington.\u00a0 We\u2019ve been given a master class in how the administrative state can prevent any politician from enacting any policy they don\u2019t agree with.\u00a0 And they\u2019ve also demonstrated that they can imprison anyone from a Q-anon shaman to a general to a former president if they decide to.<\/p>\n
Then the Deep State should be aware that most people see this exercise of intimidating a president for what it is.\u00a0 That means that those in charge aren\u2019t afraid to nakedly signal their control over the government of the United States.\u00a0 They aren\u2019t in any way afraid of the people knowing that they\u2019ve effectively usurped the sovereignty of this country.<\/p>\n
To me that\u2019s the message.\u00a0 When they took Nixon down probably most people believed it was what they said it was.\u00a0 A coverup by the president of the action of some rogue administration flunkies.\u00a0 Brave reporters and patriotic FBI agents putting country before their own personal safety and careers, blah, blah, blah.\u00a0 But we\u2019re not that stupid anymore.\u00a0 We\u2019ve seen this kabuki theater a bunch of times.\u00a0 It\u2019s predictable.\u00a0 And they must know that we know.\u00a0 To my mind the message is, \u201cGet used to it.\u201d<\/p>\n
That means that Jim Jordan and Matt Gaetz are risking a lot challenging and tweaking the noses of the Deep State and their allies in the Congress.\u00a0 They already came after Gaetz.\u00a0 They tried to hang him out to dry on a phony sex crime.\u00a0 I don\u2019t doubt they\u2019ll try something else again.\u00a0 Jordan\u2019s subcommittee on weaponizing the Justice Department is waving the red cape at the bull.\u00a0 I don\u2019t doubt they\u2019ll play some dirty tricks on him.<\/p>\n
I read somewhere that one of the rules that Gaetz and company restored was one that allowed the House of Representatives to withhold the funding of any agency based on a majority vote.\u00a0 If this is true that could be a substantial club that might impress the Deep State.\u00a0 After all money is a big part of the lure that puts these people in these agencies.\u00a0 The salaries and benefits are extremely attractive.\u00a0 Imagine if the Congress got serious about punishing these creeps.\u00a0 It would take guts but it might be a way to convince them that this isn\u2019t their country.\u00a0 It\u2019s supposed to be ours.<\/p>\n
Yeah, but who am I kidding?\u00a0 They\u2019d have Jordan and Gaetz in a holding cell so fast it\u2019d make their heads spin.\u00a0 They\u2019d go after their wives and kids.\u00a0 They\u2019d have the FBI dig through every document they\u2019d signed since their first library card and they\u2019d link it all to Putin.\u00a0 And they\u2019d laugh about it in public.\u00a0 They\u2019re not afraid and they don\u2019t care if we know it.<\/p>\n
