So, I\u2019ve been under a form of coercion for the last three days.\u00a0 Between shoveling snow and shoveling paperwork I\u2019ve been buried alive.\u00a0 Now I\u2019ve been reading the news and opinion for the last few days and thinking about what might be interesting.\u00a0 There are developments on both sides of the Ukraine war and there are interesting developments in Kevin McCarthy locating his backbone but I just haven\u2019t had any time to contemplate, cogitate, and rhapsodize on these themes.<\/p>\n
Instead, I\u2019ve been concentrating on just what awful people inhabit the cesspool that is the Uniparty.\u00a0 Schiff, Swalwell and Schumer.\u00a0 And that\u2019s just the esses.\u00a0 The bees, ems and the pees are no better.\u00a0 It\u2019s a whole alphabet full of sleazebags, crumb-bums and crooks.\u00a0 But at some point, during my second day of shoveling I wasn\u2019t too cold from the weather or too hot from the exertion and I was feeling curiously relaxed by the rhythm of throwing the snow over my shoulder that I started thinking about the bright side of our present situation.<\/p>\n
For one thing McCarthy said categorically that Schiff and Swalwell were disqualified from being on the Intelligence committee because they were, respectively, a documented liar about classified information and a purchaser of sexual favors from Chinese spies.\u00a0 And I thought, \u201cHey that\u2019s right, McCarthy said these two guys are scumbags and he wasn\u2019t afraid of hurting their feelings like that RINO Paul Ryan would have been.\u00a0 He just said it as a matter of fact.\u00a0 That\u2019s kind of fun.<\/p>\n
And he\u2019s going to try to keep Ilhan Omar off a committee too.\u00a0 He\u2019ll have to whip his whole party to make it happen but he\u2019ll probably succeed because she\u2019s a lousy human being and probably almost no one likes her anyway.\u00a0 And that\u2019s kind of fun too.<\/p>\n
And McCarthy looks like he\u2019s going to at least try to negotiate with the White House on some kind of budget deal.\u00a0 Sure, he may cave and go along with the continuing resolution on the obscenely bloated so-called budget because all the media outlets are screeching every hour on the hour that the sky is falling because we won\u2019t be able to send out the welfare checks to the illegal aliens.\u00a0 But at the least he won\u2019t just roll over and add another $100 billion for Ukraine as far as I can see.\u00a0 And he won\u2019t ban guns by calling them assault weapons so that\u2019s pretty good too.<\/p>\n
And then I heard that Mike Pence found classified documents in his fanny pack or his nap room and I started to laugh.\u00a0 Now Mike Pence is a threat to our democracy.\u00a0 Who\u2019s next, Jimmy Carter, Henry Kissinger?\u00a0 Should they rifle through Grant\u2019s Tomb to see if there were any Civil War secret weapons that might end up in Russian hands?\u00a0 Our Deep State have beclowned themselves in the last few months.\u00a0 Sure, they\u2019re a metastatic cancer on the lifeblood of our republic but they\u2019re also the Keystone Cops.\u00a0 Certainly, they destroy the lives of many innocent Americans but they\u2019re also pathetic losers.\u00a0 And it\u2019s almost certain that they\u2019ve already sown the seeds of their own destruction.<\/p>\n
Any society that descends down the path of surveillance state eventually implodes from loss of legitimacy.\u00a0 Eventually everyone pretends to believe the lies but no one actually does.\u00a0 And one day pretend loyalty won\u2019t be enough to save the state from a catastrophe and after that you get the Soviet Union and East Germany and Romania in the 1990\u2019s.\u00a0 And if they\u2019re not careful they\u2019ll end up with what Nicolae and Elena Ceau\u0219escu got, a kangaroo court like they gave their victims and a firing squad.<\/p>\n
So, there\u2019s no big news this week.\u00a0 Just little stuff.\u00a0 But I must be in a good mood because I had all these pleasant thoughts while shoveling.\u00a0 Well, exercise is good for you.\u00a0 Maybe it\u2019s good for the soul too.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
