Work, work.\u00a0 Work, work, work.\u00a0 As stated earlier this week will be very busy.\u00a0 But not as bad as previously imagined.\u00a0 Today was surprisingly reasonable.\u00a0 Good.<\/p>\n

CPAC established that Donald Trump is still the primary candidate for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.\u00a0 It\u2019s not clear to me how Ron DeSantis and the GOP establishment will deal with that.\u00a0 And honestly, I don\u2019t much care.\u00a0 As the Z-Man likes to say the Democrats have \u201cfortified democracy\u201d in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Arizona and Michigan.\u00a0 It probably won\u2019t allow for Republicans to win in those states anymore.\u00a0 Or at least not until cannibalism breaks out pretty convincingly in those places.<\/p>\n

The other stuff in the news is relatively tame.\u00a0 Bakhmut is about to fall in Ukraine but the billions keep flowing to Zelenskyyyyyyyyy and company.\u00a0 East Palestine Ohio has disappeared from the headlines but Mayor Pete will now be dressed as the construction worker instead of the policeman whenever YMCA is played during pride month.\u00a0 Mumbles Biden is no longer even trying to fashion coherent sentences or even use actual words.\u00a0 His utterances look like the gibberish that science fiction writers used to make their alien creatures spew.\u00a0 Long strings of zees and exes intermingled with random vowel sounds.\u00a0 You know; izzichthizzzzexxxx zeep seep eeeee!\u00a0 It\u2019s funny.\u00a0 I think every single Democrat president has been worse than his predecessor since all the way to Jimmy Carter.<\/p>\n

But with Biden we\u2019ve somehow taken a horrible giant step change to something much worse.\u00a0 We now have a president that is so repellant in all his aspects that you begin to wonder if it will be possible to surpass or even equal him in awfulness.\u00a0 I was thinking of Kamala Harris or Pete Buttigieg and after review I think Biden has either of them beat.\u00a0 Sure, Kamala is stupider than Joe but for all of the horrible things she had to do to get to where she is, she can\u2019t compare to the depravity and dishonesty that Joe just radiates.\u00a0 And the same goes for Mayor Pete.\u00a0 Sure, Pete\u2019s a pathetic excuse for a man.\u00a0 But Joe is just plain loathsome.\u00a0 Just look at what he\u2019s done to his son and daughter.\u00a0 He belongs in the asylum where they keep people like Hannibal Lecter.\u00a0 Even Lecter would ask to be moved to a better cell if Joe were his neighbor.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know.\u00a0 Maybe there is someone even more horrible waiting in the wings.\u00a0 Is Caligula about to be reincarnated?\u00a0 Could Rasputin have survived the various assassination attempts and somehow survived to end up in 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue just to outdo Biden?\u00a0 Well, I guess we\u2019ll have to wait and find out.<\/p>\n

But all of this is just misdirected anger.\u00a0 It is America that is broken.\u00a0 Regardless of whether we blame the evil party or the stupid party or both, we must confess that our political system doesn\u2019t work anymore.\u00a0 It\u2019s been gamed.\u00a0 We are owned by the public servants who run the intelligence agencies and the Congress.\u00a0 And they are on the payroll of the corporations that cash in on the various government contracts, programs and monopolies.\u00a0 The weapons manufacturers, the drug companies and the tech companies work hand in hand with the regulators, the federal agencies and the Congress to keep the gravy train going and us under their heels.<\/p>\n

Sure, this is probably how it\u2019s been for the last century but things have accelerated.\u00a0 Running the United States isn\u2019t enough anymore.\u00a0 They want the whole planet.\u00a0 And to make that work we aren\u2019t needed.\u00a0 In fact, we won\u2019t be tolerated.\u00a0 We\u2019re in the way and they know what to do about that.\u00a0 We\u2019re going to be downsized out of existence.\u00a0 And not slowly.\u00a0 Active measures are being taken and they don\u2019t even have to pretend it\u2019s not so.\u00a0 Accuse them of trying to get rid of the middle class and they just shrug their shoulders and say, \u201cSo?\u201d<\/p>\n

And maybe they can get away with all of this.\u00a0 Most of the people in the limelight don\u2019t seem particularly smart or strong.\u00a0 But maybe the people really calling the shots are.\u00a0 Maybe they\u2019ll win because they are smarter than us.\u00a0 And if they succeed in dominating China and Russia then maybe their system will overshadow the planet.\u00a0 What a thought; rainbow flags as far as the eye can see and transgender armies goose stepping in front of the Kremlin.<\/p>\n

But just accepting all this seems weak.\u00a0 I think it\u2019s worth resisting.\u00a0 Wouldn\u2019t it be great to find out that they really aren\u2019t that smart!\u00a0 Maybe it\u2019s just the stupid party helping them win.\u00a0 And maybe, just maybe, we\u2019ll find some smart people on our side.\u00a0 Okay, that\u2019s enough for a Monday in hell week.\u00a0 We return you to the horror show already in progress.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
