I\u2019ve started a series of posts on what seem to me to be the practical steps we need to take in the situation we find ourselves in.\u00a0 But in order to make it worthwhile I need to put some thought and some research into it.\u00a0 So, it\u2019ll take a while to start and even more time to show much progress.<\/p>\n
But I was just thinking of something that doesn\u2019t take much deep thinking to say.\u00a0 So, I\u2019ll put it down on paper (or electrons or whatever this medium is).<\/p>\n
We all live in two worlds now.\u00a0 There is the day-to-day existence in prison world.\u00a0 That\u2019s the cage that\u2019s been built for us by the Deep State, the DEI\/LGBTQ\/BLM worshipping corporations, the tech companies, the schools, colleges, professional societies and most of the churches.<\/p>\n
Then there is the other world.\u00a0 That\u2019s the one made up of people who think like us.\u00a0 That\u2019s your friends and family that haven\u2019t drunk the cool-aid and still believe in the old world.\u00a0 That\u2019s people you meet out in the world and on-line who don\u2019t talk like an NPR broadcast with their careful use of pronouns and therapeutic tone of voice like they\u2019re in a mental institution and don\u2019t want to rile up the patients.<\/p>\n
These two worlds are night and day.\u00a0 In one world every conversation you have and every document you read raises your stress levels and sets your teeth on edge.\u00a0 You\u2019re always biting your tongue to keep yourself from saying what you really think.\u00a0 Every minute in this world drains you of joy and energy.\u00a0 You find yourself looking for excuses to wander away into the other world.<\/p>\n
Then there\u2019s the free world.\u00a0 Now this world is much smaller.\u00a0 And it\u2019s fragmented.\u00a0 Some of it only exists on-line.\u00a0 It\u2019s fragments here and there.\u00a0 This or that website and the folks that you find there.\u00a0 For me a large part of it is this place that I have manufactured out of bits and pieces of my personality.\u00a0 Here are a number of people I\u2019ve met and who share some of the same opinions I hold.<\/p>\n
Then there\u2019s some of my work friends, guys I used work with.\u00a0 One group gets together every week for a zoom meeting and that\u2019s a lot of fun.\u00a0 We compare notes on things and give our opinions on the various outrages going on and talk about old friends and enemies and where they are.<\/p>\n
And finally, there\u2019s family.\u00a0 People who know you better than anyone.\u00a0 With them you couldn\u2019t even make believe if you wanted to because they\u2019d know it was fake.\u00a0 Here are the people that matter most to you and you can say what you believe.<\/p>\n
The free world is where you want to spend all your time.\u00a0 But unfortunately, that\u2019s not possible anymore.\u00a0 So, we\u2019ve all learned to compartmentalize our words and our actions to protect ourselves when we\u2019re in prison world.\u00a0 We don\u2019t want to rile the guards or the other prisoners who don\u2019t belong to our tribe.\u00a0 That would put us in great danger and wouldn\u2019t solve anything.<\/p>\n
We\u2019ll have to wait for my more practical advice to figure out a way to escape from prison for good.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
