In the late 1970s I thought America had lost its way.\u00a0 We had elected a terrible president in Carter and everything was coming apart at the seams.\u00a0 But then we elected Reagan and it seemed like the ship had been righted and America was back to what it should be.<\/p>\n

In the nineties we got George Bush 1 and that got us Bill Clinton and once again were going down the wrong path.\u00a0 In 2000 we tried to fix things with Bush 2 and then everything went to hell.\u00a0 We got 9\/11, endless wars, bankruptcy for the country and that led to Obama.\u00a0 That was horrible and I could see the country fraying at the seams.\u00a0 When Trump came along it was like a last lifeline thrown to us.\u00a0 There was some honest talk and the hope that maybe we could undo the damage that had been done over the last several decades.\u00a0 But then came the George Floyd riots, COVID and the 2020 election fraud.\u00a0 And now after the 2022 midterms it\u2019s official.\u00a0 We were being kidded along.\u00a0 The powers that be control the country and we were never going to be allowed to run this country.\u00a0 We were just chumps who fight the wars for them.\u00a0 There\u2019s no way back to what we thought was normal anymore.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, you can\u2019t help that,\u201d said the Cat: \u201cwe\u2019re all mad here. I\u2019m mad. You\u2019re mad.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cHow do you know I\u2019m mad?\u201d said Alice.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cYou must be,\u201d said the Cat, \u201cor you wouldn\u2019t have come here.\u201d\u00a0 (Lewis Carroll, Alice\u2019s Adventures in Wonderland)<\/em><\/p>\n

Now it\u2019s apparent that what\u2019s happened is more than just the Deep State usurping the political process and stealing elections.\u00a0 Really what\u2019s going on is that the majority of the population has bought into the new America.\u00a0 Minorities, white women and the youth have drunk the cool-aid and love Big Brother.\u00a0 They believe in global warming, saving Gaia, transgender surgeries for ten-year-olds, the desirability of a childless life and owning nothing and liking it.\u00a0 Joe Biden\u2019s America is what they aspire to.\u00a0 They believe in this madness and we aren\u2019t going to talk them out of it.<\/p>\n

\u201cWould you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cThat depends a good deal on where you want to get to,\u201d said the Cat.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t much care where\u2013\u201d said Alice.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cThen it doesn\u2019t matter which way you go,\u201d said the Cat.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201c\u2013so long as I get SOMEWHERE,\u201d Alice added as an explanation.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cOh, you\u2019re sure to do that,\u201d said the Cat, \u201cif you only walk long enough.\u201d\u00a0 (Lewis Carroll, Alice\u2019s Adventures in Wonderland)<\/em><\/p>\n

So that leaves the rest of us in a quandary, where do we go from here?\u00a0 That\u2019s the one no one can answer.\u00a0 All the smart people on the Right who fulminate against the managerial state and the hive and the deep state and the oligarchy don\u2019t have an answer to what we do or where we go or how to get to a better place.\u00a0 Frankly I don\u2019t think they know.<\/p>\n

And I can\u2019t blame them.\u00a0 I don\u2019t know either.\u00a0 But it seems we must try to do something.\u00a0 Just going along with the others is giving in to madness.\u00a0 And the only hopeful thing is that we\u2019ve seen so much of the grift being used against us that we have at least gained a little wisdom.\u00a0 There\u2019s the hope that we can at least tell the difference between something real and the fakes and the crazies.\u00a0 At least we can hope that\u2019s the case.\u00a0 So, we have to keep trying.<\/p>\n

\u2018I could tell you my adventures\u2013beginning from this morning,\u2019 said Alice a little timidly: \u2018but it\u2019s no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then.\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n

This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. Alice replied, rather shyly, \u201cI\u2013I hardly know, sir, just at present\u2013 at least I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then.\u201d\u00a0 (Lewis Carroll, Alice\u2019s Adventures in Wonderland)<\/em><\/p>\n

And after all that has happened and all we\u2019ve learned about the lies we were told about our country, who exactly are we.\u00a0 What part of the country doesn\u2019t want this \u201cbrave new world\u201d of wokeness?\u00a0 And what unites us?\u00a0 Is it just cultural traditionalists?\u00a0 Or does it include civic nationalists who believe in the wisdom of the United States Constitution as a basis for a civil society.\u00a0 Can we put together a coalition that is willing to risk everything we have to free ourselves from the tyranny of the Left?\u00a0 And will it have any permanence?\u00a0 Who will be our leaders?\u00a0 Certainly not the likes of Lindsey Grahams and Mitch McConnell.\u00a0 They have shown their stupidity and baseness.\u00a0 Where will we find leaders to unite us and help us achieve our freedom?<\/p>\n

Alice laughed. \u201cThere\u2019s no use trying,\u201d she said: \u201cone can\u2019t believe impossible things.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI daresay you haven\u2019t had much practice,\u201d said the Queen. \u201cWhen I was your age, I always did it for half-an-hour a day. Why, sometimes I\u2019ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 (Lewis Carroll, Alice\u2019s Adventures in Wonderland)<\/em><\/p>\n

And even if we figure out who we are and what we want is escaping from this mad world possible?\u00a0 The brainwashed masses who believe in the dictates of the Hive are totally madmen.\u00a0 But the cynical people who control the country and own most everything there is to own are quite capable of using the apparatus of the federal government to destroy their enemies most efficiently.\u00a0 They have trillions of dollars of equipment and millions of pawns under their power and no scruples at all about using them against anyone who won\u2019t knuckle under.<\/p>\n
