So much stuff to do.\u00a0 And so much more coming up.\u00a0 Here it is almost tomorrow and I\u2019m just getting started on a post.\u00a0 And I\u2019m groggy from the business of the day.\u00a0 So, let\u2019s just go with what\u2019s on my mind right now.\u00a0 I have to say all the indicators are bleak.\u00a0 In a democracy, if the clear majority of citizens back the government in the teeth of extreme economic downturn, then there doesn\u2019t seem to be much hope for the opposition.\u00a0 We have reached that proverbial tipping point where more than fifty percent of the people are on the dole and prefer a marginal existence with no effort versus working hard and prospering.<\/p>\n
Now that\u2019s the death spiral.\u00a0 And as the older generation dies out all that will be left will be these bread and circus losers, immigrant serfs and the elites.\u00a0 I\u2019ve been asking the question whether leaving the country is a viable choice.\u00a0 Well, I haven\u2019t really even begun that investigation but I\u2019ve got to tell you I\u2019m starting to think that the way things are going, leaving may be the only hope for young people to survive this situation.<\/p>\n
I mean, how do you find a spouse, raise a family and make a living in this country?\u00a0 The school system tells women that giving birth to children is at best a betrayal of their own self-interests and at worst a crime against the planet.\u00a0 Succeeding through merit is being banned as toxic whiteness.\u00a0 And children are being indoctrinated by their schools to hate their race and question their biological identity.\u00a0 Any way you want to evaluate the society around us, it\u2019s a diseased culture that won\u2019t support the continuance of the America we knew.\u00a0 And it was that older America that we\u2019re trying to restore so if the people that are left are already supporting this new degraded version of the country, then we\u2019re definitely not going to be able to save the whole country.\u00a0 Places like the West Coast and the Northeast are irredeemable and other areas like the Great Lakes and the Southwest are slipping away too.<\/p>\n
Maybe I\u2019m just down because of all the awful stuff in the headlines.\u00a0 But it does seem to me that what\u2019s going on now is what you expect after that tipping point.\u00a0 From now on the deconstruction of America will be a continuous drum beat that will only move in one direction.\u00a0 And maybe geographically, it will be uneven.\u00a0 Maybe Florida and the South will hold out a little longer but I haven\u2019t seen anything yet that looks like state nullification of federal interference.\u00a0 I know I\u2019d love to see it.\u00a0 It would give me hope.\u00a0 But currently it\u2019s just grumbling.\u00a0 We\u2019ve never stopped the federal government doing anything.\u00a0 And we\u2019ve never even heard of reversing any outrage that\u2019s already happened.<\/p>\n
I guess now is the winter of my discontent.\u00a0 Bleak was the word I used earlier and I think it\u2019s apt.\u00a0 I was tempted to just delete this thing and just go to bed.\u00a0 But I like to use this blog as a journal sometimes.\u00a0 So, this is my current feeling about our country.\u00a0 And even if we\u2019re the hegemon there must still be places outside this country that don\u2019t engage in Orwellian psychic torture of their citizens.\u00a0 So maybe that\u2019s the consolation.\u00a0 If this place doesn\u2019t turn around and if the Red States cave, then bailing out is a logical and optimistic choice.\u00a0 But what a defeat that would be.\u00a0 My people came here less than a century and a half ago.\u00a0 Could the American dream have only had that much time left when they arrived?\u00a0 Well, if they could do it maybe we can too.<\/p>\n
I hope in the morning I\u2019m feeling more hopeful than right now.\u00a0 But there it is.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
