Recent events have provided clear evidence that we no longer live in a representative democracy but rather in a bureaucratic oligarchy.\u00a0 Some people have dubbed this the \u201cmanagerial state.\u201d\u00a0 They control the executive branch agencies and control the real power that runs this country.\u00a0 And not even an elected president can control them.\u00a0 A close affiliation of Department of Justice personnel and Democrat appointed judges have the power to destroy anyone they want to.\u00a0 That even includes a former President of the United States of America who is also a highly popular candidate for the upcoming election to that same office.<\/p>\n
Now as distressing as this is, we gain nothing by continuing to shriek at the skies about this being the case.\u00a0 Practically everyone now knows this.\u00a0 Sounding the alarm no longer serves a purpose, or at least only a minimal purpose.<\/p>\n
But what is purposeful is identifying new ways to live in this changed environment.\u00a0 So, what is the mission?\u00a0 Well, basically to maximize your quality of life within this regime and provide solidarity for others like you.\u00a0 One thing it doesn\u2019t include is providing the regime with an excuse for locking you up in a gulag.\u00a0 The example of the January 6th<\/sup> protestors is a template of what not to do.\u00a0 And the first thing to pay attention is where it was done.\u00a0 Washington DC is literally the in belly of the beast.\u00a0 In that jurisdiction the chance of a conservative protestor getting equal treatment under the law is nonexistent.\u00a0 In fact, chances are most of the leaders of the protest were FBI agents leading the lambs to slaughter.<\/p>\n In general, trying to fight against the federal government in a blue state is suicidal.\u00a0 But that still leaves plenty of leeway for constructive action.\u00a0 There are many places in this country where conservative legislatures and governors are attempting to hold the line against the madness that Biden inflicts on us every day.\u00a0 These are the places to flock to.\u00a0 But even in these enclaves of freedom it\u2019s wise to look at what you can do to reinforce your quality of life.<\/p>\n All the usual warnings about protecting your family from the public schools and selecting a career that eschews the woke corporations and the professions like law and medicine that have been hopelessly captured by the Left apply of course.\u00a0 These things almost go without saying.\u00a0 But don\u2019t neglect them.\u00a0 They have an enormous impact on your life.<\/p>\n But just as important is attending to the social aspects of your life.\u00a0 \u201cMan does not live by bread alone.\u201d\u00a0 And work isn\u2019t all there is.\u00a0 Cultivate a network of like-minded friends in your community.\u00a0 Spend time with them and their families.\u00a0 Find out who is reliable and who is not.\u00a0 Be helpful to them and in this way build up a support system and a community of people you can trust and who trust you.\u00a0 Hopefully some of these people will be your friends and maybe their children will be your children\u2019s friends.<\/p>\n In a way we have to form communities within communities.\u00a0 All of the normal social avenues; fraternal orders, church societies, even hobbies have been colonized by the Left and made unwholesome.\u00a0 We have no choice but to start anew with ourselves as the only standard by which to select membership.\u00a0 But at the same time, we also get to provide the rules and the content of the associations.\u00a0 Maybe you\u2019re a gun nut and enjoy going down to the range once a month.\u00a0 Well, then that tells you what activity you\u2019ll center your social club around.\u00a0 Or maybe you enjoy a weekly poker night out with the boys.\u00a0 Well, what\u2019s better than that for camaraderie?<\/p>\n You might be asking what this has to do with being part of the resistance.\u00a0 The answer is simple.\u00a0 We\u2019re the party without power.\u00a0 We\u2019re not going to win back this country anytime soon.\u00a0 If we\u2019re not going to just give up, we have to have a way to preserve our culture and also maintain morale.\u00a0 To do that we need to create a network of people like us to provide the social cohesion that will keep our culture alive.\u00a0 That\u2019s why forming a community is crucial.\u00a0 Without it we will become isolated, alienated and simply disappear.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Recent events have provided clear evidence that we no longer live in a representative democracy but rather in a bureaucratic oligarchy.\u00a0 Some people have dubbed<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_mi_skip_tracking":false,"_exactmetrics_sitenote_active":false,"_exactmetrics_sitenote_note":"","_exactmetrics_sitenote_category":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[5],"tags":[2788,2663,2581],"class_list":["post-24263","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-current-events","tag-dont-just-survive","tag-the-real-resistance","tag-thriving-in-the-era-of-the-woke-revolt"],"yoast_head":"\n
