Trump Apprentice 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I didn\u2019t watch the debate the other night.\u00a0 And probably very few people did.\u00a0 It\u2019s not like there is any big payback for watching that stuff.\u00a0 I did watch NBC\u2019s \u201cfive biggest moments.\u201d\u00a0 Well, I don\u2019t know how they define big.\u00a0 I watched Chris Christie\u2019s \u201cDonald Duck\u201d zinger.\u00a0 I guess that was the \u201ccleverest\u201d line.\u00a0 I have worked out my candidate hierarchy.\u00a0 Starting from the most annoying and working down I\u2019d say:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nikki Haley<\/li>\n<li>Mike Pence<\/li>\n<li>Chris Christie<\/li>\n<li>Tim Scott<\/li>\n<li>Vivek Ramaswamy<\/li>\n<li>Ron DeSantis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I left out the governor from the Dakotas because I didn\u2019t see him show up in the clips and I\u2019m not 100% convinced that he actually exists in real life.\u00a0 He may be a deep fake manufactured to bring the debate number up to Lucky Seven.<\/p>\n<p>I like Ron DeSantis because he has done some very positive things in Florida.\u00a0 That said, these \u201cdebates\u201d are an embarrassment for all involved.\u00a0 I understand that what is going on is the process of choosing who will be the candidate if Donald Trump is successfully kept off the ballot by the Uniparty.\u00a0 But that process is a stain on everyone involved.<\/p>\n<p>But I\u2019ve figured out a legitimate way to select an alternative to Trump if the puppet masters figure out a way to keep him from running.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><u>Let Donald Trump choose his own successor<\/u><\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>He should do it now.\u00a0 In fact, it could be done as an entertainment product; \u201cThe Apprentice \u2013 2024 VP Sweepstakes.\u201d\u00a0 Elon Musk could stream it on X and anyone who wants to watch it could pay two bucks a show and there would be ways for viewers to vote on different aspects of the show and donate money to Trump\u2019s legal defense fund and maybe even a tie-in where a viewer gets to be on the finale where all but one of the contestants get fired.<\/p>\n<p>So, I sound a little tongue in cheek here but I truly believe that Trump should select his running mate\/successor early on.\u00a0 That way if the bugmen keep him off the ballot at least we\u2019ll be voting for the next best choice and hopefully someone who Trump trusts not to sell us out.<\/p>\n<p>Now this would probably be a more difficult choice than Trump faced in 2016.\u00a0 Mike Pence was probably a strategic selection.\u00a0 He had social conservative cred and that filled in some of the gaps from Trump\u2019s more cosmopolitan background.\u00a0 But now he\u2019s faced with choosing someone who can try to save the country from the oligarchs that are already as angry as a nest full of hornets that\u2019s been knocked out of a tree.<\/p>\n<p>And maybe the one he picks wasn\u2019t even on last night\u2019s stage.\u00a0 Except for DeSantis the rest of them aren\u2019t even close to being qualified to save this country.\u00a0 And last I looked Trump and DeSantis hate each other\u2019s guts.\u00a0 Not that that is a disqualifying situation.\u00a0 Plenty of very effective partnerships were between men who hated each other.<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully he\u2019s already given very serious consideration to this selection.\u00a0 Trump\u2019s freedom may depend on selecting someone honest enough to pardon him once the dust settles.<\/p>\n<p>But that\u2019s it.\u00a0 Trump should select his running mate\/successor before the primaries start.\u00a0 And that successor will have to be on the primary ballots too just in case Trump gets knocked off.\u00a0 Otherwise, one of the establishment candidates would end up as the candidate.<\/p>\n<p>What a strange and depressing political situation we\u2019ve ended up in.\u00a0 The most popular candidate is despised and conspired against by his own political party and both parties collude to deny the will of the majority of Americans on all the most important governance topics, like immigration, energy and the economy.\u00a0 So if the powers that be have their way and Donald Trump is kept off the ballot then let him pick his successor.\u00a0 In the diseased state of \u201cour democracy\u201d that will be as close as we\u2019ll get to the will of the people in that circumstance.<\/p>\n<p>Boy, I\u2019d love to see Trump tell Chris Christie, <strong>\u201cYou\u2019re
