So, Halloween is done and we begin the sprint to Christmas.\u00a0 We\u2019ll try to forget the various horrors that surround us on every side and try to enjoy Thanksgiving and Christmas.\u00a0 This week is a nightmare of commitments that end probably a week from today.\u00a0 That of course cuts into my writing time drastically but what can you do?<\/p>\n
All the routine nonsense dominates the news.\u00a0 The usual psychos are demanding a ceasefire in Gaza, escalation in Ukraine and more illegal aliens in Texas.\u00a0 Joe Biden\u2019s poll numbers keep edging down toward 30% but everyone assures us he\u2019ll be the candidate.\u00a0 The latest attacks on Trump are to remove him from the ballot.\u00a0 This is supposedly by Democrats but you know that the Republicans are assisting them in any way they can.\u00a0 And every media site trumpets the extraordinary popularity and remarkable wisdom of Nikki Haley, the new manlier version of Mitt Romney.\u00a0 Well, it is the stupid party.\u00a0 I\u2019m sure there are plenty of useful idiots who will parrot this swill.<\/p>\n
As you can see, the news is not worth a post.\u00a0 I think I\u2019ll talk a little bit about the present state of \u201cleadership.\u201d\u00a0 Let\u2019s review.\u00a0 Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are the executive leadership of the United States government.\u00a0 Antony Blinken is the Secretary of State.\u00a0 The \u201cSquad\u201d including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts, and Rashida Tlaib of Michigan are considered important legislative leaders.\u00a0 Merrick Garland is the Attorney General.\u00a0 Pete Buttigieg is the Transportation Secretary. \u00a0\u201cRachel\u201d Levine and Sam Brinton were considered qualified to provide responsible government leadership despite being mentally disturbed.\u00a0 Lloyd Austin is the Secretary of Defense.<\/p>\n
None of these people is considered particularly impressive in their field of endeavor.\u00a0 In some cases, like Joe Biden and Ilhan Omar, an honest mental health professional would probably recommend institutionalization as the safest option for the good of both the patient and society at large.<\/p>\n
My point is that we are selecting \u201cleaders\u201d based on grievance group politics.\u00a0 These people are representing the agenda of the various constituent groups of the Democrat party coalition.\u00a0 But, otherwise, they are entirely unqualified for their jobs.\u00a0 In fact, some of them are dangerously unqualified.\u00a0 For instance, Antony Blinken has one of the most important jobs in the federal government.\u00a0 He has an enormous amount of influence over the foreign policy of the most powerful military power on the planet.\u00a0 He could literally trigger a nuclear war by some of his actions.\u00a0 And yet he\u2019s a blithering idiot and a delusional partisan.<\/p>\n
And speaking of blithering idiots, no one can seriously claim that Kamala Harris isn\u2019t a mental and emotional cripple.\u00a0 Watching her performance in the first 2020 Democratic presidential candidates\u2019 debate would convince any neutral observer that Harris was an emotionally unbalanced simpleton.<\/p>\n
And yet all these people are allegedly running the United States federal government.\u00a0 It seems to me this is proof that the idea that our elected representatives \u201crun\u201d the government is a charade.\u00a0 The actual operation is handled by bureaucrats and by the government contractors who tell the Congress what bills to pass.<\/p>\n
But regardless of how ancillary the office holders in the federal government may be, it still seems clear to me that having morons and the insane as our elected and appointed leaders will pretty quickly lead to chaos.\u00a0 Already we have reached the point where hyperinflation is threatening.\u00a0 Pretty soon the national debt will become impossible to service.\u00a0 At that point very bad things can be expected to happen.\u00a0 And yet, currently Americans keep voting these people into power.\u00a0 It\u2019s extremely hard to assume that the average American isn\u2019t also a moron.<\/p>\n
I guess I understand why many people have been investing in commodities.\u00a0 After the crash these materials may be the only way to avoid complete bankruptcy.\u00a0 But hopefully something will happen to stave off such a catastrophe.\u00a0 Maybe nuclear Armageddon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
