I sense a stirring in the force.\u00a0 Even the NeverTrumpers detect the turning of the tide.\u00a0 The New York Times is starting to talk about it.\u00a0 I\u2019m not saying that I\u2019m tired of winning but I definitely notice that the orcs are starting to waver.\u00a0 Politico has written off the Senate as unreachable for the Democrats.\u00a0 The generic Congressional Preference Poll has gone from Dems +10 to even.\u00a0 What a wonderful place to be in the spring of a Mid-Term election year.\u00a0 I noted recently that the NY Times is providing us with the acceptable \u201c intellectual leaders of the dark web.\u201d\u00a0 To me that says they\u2019re trying to blunt the force of the tsunami headed their way.\u00a0 Next will come the congressional \u201cmoderates\u201d reaching across the aisle to come up with sensible (understand liberal) choices for the Supreme Court.\u00a0 Before you know it the MSM will start touting the remaining liberal Republicans as elder statesmen and intellectual leaders of the Grand Old Party, \u201cthe party of Lincoln.\u201d\u00a0 We\u2019ll be told that good old American compromise is the bedrock virtue on which all others rest.\u00a0 And then the wackiest of all transformations will occur sometime around the beginning of Trump\u2019s second term.\u00a0 We\u2019ll hear about \u00a0how moderate Trump is but how radical Pence has somehow become.\u00a0 How we need to find a better candidate for 2024 that better reflects the spirit of the times.\u00a0 Possibly Mitt Romney or even JEB!.<\/p>\n
Let\u2019s hope that Republican leaders (?!) and voters have learned something from the Bush years.\u00a0 Don\u2019t trust the Dems.\u00a0 Ever.\u00a0 And if you get them on the ground put your foot on their throat and keep it there.\u00a0 Permanently.\u00a0 These people are the problem and the ones who want to compromise with them are idiots.<\/p>\n
I look forward to a few things happening this spring.\u00a0 I assume the rest of the FBI cabalists will be fired and hopefully prosecuted.\u00a0 The Mueller Investigation will be terminated either willingly or unwillingly.\u00a0 And I hope to see the Supreme Court come out on the side of the Wedding Baker.\u00a0 Even that idiot Kennedy will have to own up to religious freedom existing in the Bill of Rights.\u00a0 Beyond that we\u2019ll see.\u00a0 I hope the #metoo movement will continue to terminate Democrat slimeballs.\u00a0 And if somehow the Republican congress can manage to get out of its own way, I even have hope that the House of Representatives will remain in Republican hands.\u00a0 I say this because all the ballyhoo about the blue wave seems like self-generated hype by the MSM.<\/p>\n
