So, the fireworks are finished and now we go a couple of months until Trump enters the White House.\u00a0 In the meantime, the Deep State tries to figure out how to destroy his presidency.\u00a0 And they\u2019ll also try to save the Ukraine misadventure.\u00a0 Although I can\u2019t see that working.\u00a0 Without tens of billions of dollars\u2019 worth of weapons and support Ukraine is going to collapse.<\/p>\n
But from our point of view there\u2019s really not much to talk about.\u00a0 Whether the Republicans have a three or a four man lead in the Senate or Mike Johnson has a ten or eleven man lead in the House isn\u2019t all that important.\u00a0 The fact that Mike Johnson isn\u2019t Paul Ryan is somewhat significant.\u00a0 But all of the action starts happening in January.\u00a0 And really, we won\u2019t know anything right away because it will take a bunch of weeks for Trump to get his Cabinet sworn in.<\/p>\n
My point is that there\u2019s really not much of substance to say.\u00a0 Basically, Joe Biden destroyed the country and Kamala Harris was his Vice President.\u00a0 And on top of that she is a terrible candidate.\u00a0 So, Americans rejected both of them and hired Donald Trump to fix the country.\u00a0 Yay, for our side.<\/p>\n
So now I have to figure out a new tack for my writing and my on-line existence.\u00a0 I can\u2019t see the need to document the Trump\/Washington war on a day-to-day basis.\u00a0 Undoubtedly there will be events that will inspire me to write at length.\u00a0 But a daily journal of that will be excessive.\u00a0 Instead, I want to spend the majority of my writing time on fiction.\u00a0 Also, photography is the other focus I want to feature on the site.\u00a0 And of course I\u2019ll provide reviews of books, movies and music as I find it.<\/p>\n
So, let\u2019s see how all this goes.\u00a0 Probably the difference will be hardly noticeable to the casual reader.\u00a0 And the extra time for writing will allow me to finish my first book and see how that works out.\u00a0 I\u2019m of course expecting at least a ten million books sold in the first year and then up from there.\u00a0 I\u2019ll probably be asked by the Trump administration to become a key advisor to the President on all cultural matters.\u00a0 I suppose that goes without saying.\u00a0 But it won\u2019t affect my trademark humility and love for the common man.\u00a0 My only extravagance will be an exact replica of a Packard Eight constructed almost entirely of tantalum.\u00a0 Well, maybe I\u2019ll get Camera Girl a Dyson vacuum cleaner too.\u00a0 She\u2019s been good.<\/p>\n
So, the future is upon us and it\u2019s all sunshine and sharkskin suits as far as the eye can see.\u00a0 We all will march into this bright future thanks to the final humiliation and banishment of Biden and Harris and the ascension to the throne of the once and future king; Donald J.
