At the rate things are going there won\u2019t be much left of the world by Trump\u2019s inauguration.\u00a0 Israelis, ISIS, Turks and Iranians are scrambling to claim parts of Syria.\u00a0 Romania has overturned their elections because the people chose the right-wing candidate.\u00a0 Belarus, Georgia and Kazakhstan are seething with unrest.\u00a0 South Korea has arrested the head of the military and is investigating their president for treason.\u00a0 France\u2019s parliament was dissolved through a vote of no-confidence and Trump has told Canada and Mexico that if they want any more money from him, they\u2019ll have to agree to become parts of the United States.\u00a0 And that\u2019s on top of the usual carnage in Ukraine and the threat of nuclear war if NATO continues to allow their long-range missiles to target Russia.<\/p>\n
Well, I don\u2019t suppose that the State Department and the Department of Defense have anything to do with any of these events.\u00a0 Do you?<\/p>\n
I think what the geniuses in those departments don\u2019t realize is that Trump thrives on chaos.\u00a0 I forget which of Bill Clinton\u2019s psychopathic advisors said, \u201cNever let a good crisis go to waste.\u201d\u00a0 But Donald Trump has learned that lesson by heart.\u00a0 I suspect that he will be using his authority to apply leverage on his enemies foreign and domestic.\u00a0 The crises he will put to good use are the migrant crisis and the wars in Ukraine and Syria.<\/p>\n
This week Trump met with France\u2019s Macron and Ukraine\u2019s Zelensky.\u00a0 I think he gave both of them the same general message; prepare to make a deal with Putin.\u00a0 We don\u2019t know what Macron\u2019s reaction was but Zelensky went ballistic.\u00a0 He was so upset that he declared that Biden must allow Ukraine to become part of NATO before Trump gets into office.\u00a0 Well, that\u2019s not going to happen.\u00a0 What will happen is unknown.\u00a0 The neo-cons unleashed the chaos in Syria in hopes it would deter Putin from continuing his progress in Ukraine.\u00a0 It doesn\u2019t seem to have worked.\u00a0 Chasiv Yar, Pokrovsk, Kurakhove and several other major Ukrainian defensive centers are on the edge of collapse and there does not seem to be a pause in sight.\u00a0 The Ukrainians have decided to drop the draft age to eighteen to provide an additional 200,000 soldiers for the front but there seems to be a significant desertion rate occurring and mass surrenders are also increasing.\u00a0 I suspect by January 20th<\/sup> things will be increasingly desperate for the Ukraine.<\/p>\n As for Syria, well, I hope Trump will be wise enough to leave Syria to those who want to burn their fingers on a boiling pot.\u00a0 We have no business there.\u00a0 And it looks like a trap for anyone who is stupid enough to think that trying to referee a free-for-all of raving religious lunatics is a good idea.\u00a0 Think of Iraq.<\/p>\n As for his domestic enemies, cutting off the checks to sanctuary states like New York and California should be great sport.\u00a0 New York especially has gone out of its way to antagonize Donald Trump through lawfare.\u00a0 The least he could do is return the favor.\u00a0 Something tells me there is an imbalance between what Albany can do to Trump and what Trump can inflict on the Empire state.<\/p>\n And finally, there is Trump\u2019s main event; waging war on the Deep State.\u00a0 There is the place where his personal desire for revenge and the country\u2019s interests intersect beautifully.\u00a0 Any and all havoc he can wreak on those bureaucratic tyrants will lessen their ability to torture us.\u00a0 I think the DOGE initiative is exactly the way to tame the monster in Washington.\u00a0 Freeze their salaries, brutally slash their ranks and reduce their power.\u00a0 Actually, closing down divisions and departments would even be better.<\/p>\n Well, it\u2019s a little more than a month so we\u2019ll continue to hear about the chaos that the desperate minions in Washington are unleashing on the world.\u00a0 But their days are numbered and they know it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" At the rate things are going there won\u2019t be much left of the world by Trump\u2019s inauguration.\u00a0 Israelis, ISIS, Turks and Iranians are scrambling to<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_mi_skip_tracking":false,"_exactmetrics_sitenote_active":false,"_exactmetrics_sitenote_note":"","_exactmetrics_sitenote_category":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[5,6],"tags":[3344,143,16,3942],"class_list":["post-31520","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-current-events","category-trump","tag-2024-elections","tag-drain-the-swamp","tag-trump","tag-ukraine-war"],"yoast_head":"\n
