PBS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sure, I know there will be a court injunction within the hour but still the schadenfreude and just general hilarity from this move makes it all worthwhile.\u00a0 I dream of all the muppets being laid off.\u00a0 Elmo, Big Bird and the other weirdos who inhabit the creepy corners of Sesame Street.<\/p>\n<p>Imagine all the NPR hosts of &#8220;All Things Considered&#8221; talking in the Robert Siegel whisper until they find out they&#8217;ve been laid off and then all shrieking and cussing at the tops of their lungs.\u00a0 How glorious.<\/p>\n<p>But my favorite subtractions will be Jonathan Capehart and David Brooks.\u00a0 These two pretentious blowhards have been the greatest sources of government funded misinformation on display.\u00a0 Not having to pay for their efforts will be an enormous relief.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Trump cuts funds to NPR and PBS, citing &#039;woke propaganda&#039;\" width=\"783\" height=\"440\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ylRn8wSqnK4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer;
