What a crazy day.\u00a0 We have a dog whose been sick for three days and hasn\u2019t kept down a meal in over forty-eight hours.\u00a0 I\u2019ve discovered that our veterinary office is as useless as my dentist.\u00a0 Other than routine shots during office hours everything else gets referred to either an urgent care practice or the local university animal hospital that performs procedures in a state-of-the-art facility for which you will be charged tens of thousands of dollars.\u00a0 They even have a dog psychiatrist who became famous for prescribing Prozac to hyper-aggressive breeds.<\/p>\n
After six hundred dollars\u2019 worth of tests, it looks like a bad case of viral or bacterial enteritis.\u00a0 She\u2019s still wiped out but she\u2019s holding stuff down even if it\u2019s only water.\u00a0 But it\u2019s been a long week already and I\u2019m kind of beat.\u00a0 But let\u2019s see what\u2019s going on in my head.<\/p>\n
I was interested to see how much traction Trump was making with the Europeans and Zelensky.\u00a0 Here is a group of people who hate his guts but because of the skill he has working with groups of people who hate each other\u2019s guts they realize he may be able to provide them with a solution to the nightmare that Biden and the globalists talked them into.\u00a0 So, they\u2019re gathered around him hoping for a miracle but fearing instead a kick to the groin.\u00a0 But I don\u2019t think I\u2019ll tackle that story yet.\u00a0 Putin and Zelensky are the oddest couple on planet Earth and I want to see how that plays out before putting in my two cents.<\/p>\n
Instead let\u2019s talk about bots.\u00a0 I was reading an article that said that more than half the traffic on the internet is bots.\u00a0 Now most of this isn\u2019t malicious.\u00a0 Some of it is search engines updating the contents of the internet.\u00a0 But some of it is fake traffic for \u201cinfluencers\u201d and other sites.\u00a0 And someone is paying for these clicks either directly as a service or an advertiser who thinks he\u2019s getting eyes on his ad and instead has non-humans clicking on his ad with no chance of a sale possible.<\/p>\n
So only fifty percent of the internet is real.\u00a0 But some people think it\u2019s much worse than that.\u00a0 What if ninety percent is bots?\u00a0 Now granted with the upgrades to \u201cAI\u201d these bots can make a very decent showing when they heckle you in the comments section or an X post.\u00a0 But even the most dedicated keyboard warrior has to be at least slightly deflated to find out that nine out of his last ten owned libs are just some lines of code in the Matrix.<\/p>\n
And thus, it seems to point to the need in the future for paywalls; not just to bring in some return on investment but just in order to know if it\u2019s really someone with DNA and a pulse who\u2019s talking to you or reading your stuff or even calling you a moron.\u00a0 Because that\u2019s the one thing that a bot won\u2019t do.\u00a0 It won\u2019t pony up any cash whatsoever.\u00a0 Bots don\u2019t go for spit.\u00a0 They never have and they never will.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
