I had to postpone my trip to see \u201cIron Lung\u201d with my grandson.\u00a0 We got another six inches of snow between yesterday and today and had to spend the day clearing it.\u00a0 And I really think the meteorological profession is retrogressing.\u00a0 A couple of days ago they said we would get a \u201cdusting.\u201d\u00a0 Some dusting!\u00a0 And unfortunately for me the wind was wild.\u00a0 I ended up with an ice beard and a frozen face.\u00a0 But it\u2019s done and tomorrow morning we\u2019ll see what cosmic horror lurks at the bottom of an ocean of human blood!\u00a0 I\u2019ve read a bunch of reviews and what I\u2019ve gleaned is that this is an homage to the video game of the same name and anyone who isn\u2019t a fan of the game will find it a bit long (maybe quite a bit too long).\u00a0 But that\u2019s okay.\u00a0 It will give me a chance to hang out with my grandson afterward and find out what he especially liked about it.<\/p>\n
Basically, this movie is sort of the \u201cStar Wars\u201d of his generation.\u00a0 Because it\u2019s for them.\u00a0 It\u2019s a nerdy touchstone that they bond over.\u00a0 So, I want to show deference to their choice of insider totem.\u00a0 I want to get a sense of what they enjoy.\u00a0 Should be interesting.<\/p>\n
Going through the news is becoming goofier every day.\u00a0 Apparently, Trump called the Obamas monkeys in some kind of video meme.\u00a0 I think CBS was angry that Trump hadn\u2019t apologized.\u00a0 Well, calling Obama a monkey is kind of insensitive to monkeys.\u00a0 As far as I know monkeys treat all humans equally.\u00a0 Whereas the Obamas are anti-white racists, which I consider much worse than monkeys.\u00a0 They\u2019re awful human beings.\u00a0 I hope Trump apologizes to monkeys for comparing them to the Obamas.<\/p>\n
There was another article stating that Starlink has been shut off in Ukraine and now the Russians can\u2019t control their drones.\u00a0 The article made it sound like the Russians were cut off because they didn\u2019t have legitimate accounts with Starlink.\u00a0 So, does that mean that Putin was doing what most people\u2019s young adult children do when they use their parents\u2019 Netflix and Disney Plus accounts?\u00a0 The idea that this war in which hundreds of thousands of men have been killed is being run on pirated GPS usage just seems a bridge too far.\u00a0 Is this really what\u2019s going on?\u00a0 What\u2019s next?\u00a0 Will we find out that ChatGPT has been drafted by Putin and is running the battlefield strategy?<\/p>\n
And of course, tomorrow is Super Bowl Sunday.\u00a0 I guess it must be at least seven years since I\u2019ve watched a Super Bowl.\u00a0 And honestly, I can\u2019t imagine why I\u2019ll ever bother watching it again.\u00a0 And that goes for all of professional sports.\u00a0 All the virtue signaling over race and homosexual identity have made all of it nauseating and I\u2019d rather watch a test pattern than endure their nonsense.\u00a0 I did see that Anheuser-Bush has put together some commercial for the Super Bowl that involves a Clydesdale horse befriending a bald eagle.\u00a0 Well, the only thing I could think of was, \u201cWhich one is a stand-in for Dylan Mulvaney?\u201d\u00a0 I don\u2019t think horses and eagles are going to get Bud Light their customer base back.\u00a0 Enjoy your Sunday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
