Getting old makes everything, if not worse, then definitely harder.\u00a0 I had the two younger grandsons over and one of them wanted to have a baseball catch.\u00a0 And that is one of my favorite grandson activities.\u00a0 But what I didn\u2019t reckon with was the fact that he was now entering high school and had become much stronger.\u00a0 So that meant we were standing about twice as far apart as we used to and that if he threw the ball a little too far or too far left or right, I would have to break into a full run to catch the ball on the fly.\u00a0 And at first this was exhilarating and made me feel like a kid again.\u00a0 But it was 85 degrees out and after about twenty minutes I was sweating and puffing like an old man (which I am!).\u00a0 But it was great.\u00a0 I think that was the most fun we ever had together.\u00a0 And I was so proud to see how athletic he\u2019d become.\u00a0 His fast ball was a rocket.\u00a0 It stung my hand through the glove!<\/p>\n
But right now, work stinks.\u00a0 I\u2019ve got all these extra hours and it\u2019s ruining the summer.\u00a0 I want to hand the job over to someone else but no one else is stupid enough to accept it.\u00a0 So, it\u2019s me.\u00a0 End of job rant.<\/p>\n
As anyone who\u2019s been paying attention knows the communists are making major inroads against \u201cmoderate\u201d Democrats in the urban centers.\u00a0 This reflects the voting pattern of millennial and zoomer radicals and includes their embrace of the whole Gaza \u201cgenocide\u201d claim.\u00a0 And this is causing a noticeable collision between Jewish Democrat politicians and their constituencies.\u00a0 We saw this with the New York City congressional races but it\u2019s happening elsewhere and it doesn\u2019t spare Jewish candidates just because they\u2019re \u201cdiverse.\u201d<\/p>\n
