When I saw this headline, \u00a0\u00a0Colin Kaepernick Agent, Increasingly Frustrated at NFL\u2019s Snub, Sends Out Press Release<\/a><\/p>\n

I thought it was a satire piece like in the Babylon Bee<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After reading it I knew it was real but because of that it\u2019s much funnier than any satirical piece could be.\u00a0 Imagine this.\u00a0 Kaepernick torpedoes the NFL\u2019s relationship with its most loyal fans, sues the league for malfeasance and wins millions and then his agent is increasingly frustrated that no one wants to hire him and start the cycle over again.\u00a0 It\u2019s pure comedy gold!<\/p>\n

In order to set the record straight and counter the false narratives out there his agent sent out a press release.\u00a0 Here are some of the best bits:<\/p>\n

Has Colin been offered a job by an NFL team?<\/em><\/strong>
\nNo, not a single team has offered Colin a job since the 2016 season, in which he began his\u00a0peaceful protest.<\/em><\/p>\n

Has Colin ever had a\u00a0workout with an NFL team?<\/em><\/strong>
\nNo, not a single team has brought Colin in for a workout. Seattle brought Colin in for a visit\u00a0but did not work him out. Afterwards, Pete Carroll said Colin is a \u201cstarter in this league.\u201d No\u00a0other NFL team has interviewed or worked out Colin in the past 3 seasons, despite other false\u00a0statements in the media to the contrary.<\/em><\/p>\n

What about Colin being a\u00a0\u201cdistraction\u201d with the 49ers?<\/em><\/strong>
\nHis coach, Chip Kelly,\u00a0during the 2016 season said about Colin, \u201cHe is zero distraction.\u201d\u00a0In\u00a0that same 2016 season, Colin also won the Len Eshmont Award, voted on by 49er players\u00a0and given to the 49er who best exemplifies inspirational and courageous play.<\/em><\/p>\n

Well I\u2019m glad to hear he was zero distraction as he tanked the league\u2019s ratings with his protest.\u00a0 Anyway, Nike will drag old Colin out for at least a year or two more until everyone actually forgets who he is.\u00a0 Then they\u2019ll harass us with some new dumbass they find biting the hand that feeds him.\u00a0 Hey maybe Colin can go to China and try his protest over there.\u00a0 After all the Uighur people are being oppressed pretty awfully by the Chinese.\u00a0 I\u2019m sure the Chinese would be grateful to Colin for pointing this out to them.\u00a0 They are a very reasonable people.\u00a0 Just ask the Uighurs and the Tibetans.<\/p>\n
