Back in the Day, I brought many of those home sleeping in the cargo pockets of my Chinos. My Mother was NOT impressed, but as a GS counselor, she wasn’t phased, either.
The garter and ribbon snakes were fairly common in my backyard but finding it slithering across the lily pads of the pond made for an interesting shot. And as a photographer with a daily photo that is always in demand. Even more noteworthy would be a snake swallowing a frog or a frog swallowing a snake.
