I loved the detail in the fossils. Unfortunately I didn’t do a very good job of angling my camera to get a flat perspective. Notice the out of focus areas. Of course the guys selling the minerals weren’t all that thrilled with me taking up space where customers are supposed to be standing. So I was on the hop.

Depth of field is the Achilles heel of macro photography.
Yes indeed. And taking macro shots off the back screen is the worst of the worst.
