We actually got a couple of days of that down here in N Florida. That was plenty for me to keep me for quit a while.
Yesterday was over sixty and sunny. But right now there is a patch of ice 150′ X 50′ outside of my dining room window that’s about two inches thick. Since it’s shaded by trees it will take weeks for the air temperature to melt it. Of course, a nice couple of inches of rain would take out most of it in one day. My heat transfer professor would have said in his best Slovakian accent that water is a much better heat transfer material than air. Same here in Charleston. It’s snowed twice since I moved down here from Vermont. Thought I had left God’s dandruff back there!
Oh come on. You must miss the salt and the sand. The shoveling and the scraping. The skidding and the rust.
