So I googled = “a group of turtles is called” and got:

There are several collective nouns for a group of turtles. These are: a bale of turtles, a dole of turtles, and a nest of turtles.

If I get to pick I’ll go with a dole of turtles. These are some darn lazy turtles and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if they’re on the dole.
