Quabbin Reservoir?
It’s the Barkhamsted Reservoir in Connecticut. But you’re right, the Quabbin would have been more apt since Lovecraft’s “The Color Out of Space” was inspired by the flooding of those towns to make the Quabbin. I’ve always meant to go to the Quabbin. There are bald eagles there and I’d like to get a good shot of one one day.
