At first glance, I took for a high-speed shot of surf breading over rocks!
I admit that these close-ups of mineral specimens are pretty way out there. I’m definitely reaching too much with these photos. I went to a mineral and rock show and I’ve been trying to use some of the shots that probably I shouldn’t. This is one of the most questionable. It’s a high magnification which is always a problem. And there’s just not much there. My apologies.
No apology required. Just commenting on first impressions. I grew up on the Gloucester coast and saw a lot of stony surf, and that was the first thing my brain locked on to.
It appears that the unrecognizability of this image has made it a sort of Rorschach test. I may just put out my psychiatric shingle. Dr. photog will see you now.
