Looks like the leaves have a mold.
Down here, we call predatory molds Dimocrats but up there with the whole state being a pred–, uh Dimocrat, they are probably called something else.
I guess to the New England political establishment Dunwich is sort of an infection. We’re a foreign body that is constantly under attack from the progressive immune system. And one day we’ll be absorbed and cease to exist.
That leaf was an overlay of ice crystals over fall color change. I liked the way it looked so I snapped that picture.
