It’s an interesting composition, to be sure. The bird looks like he has a little hairpiece, and his eyes and the shape of his head make him look like he’s bringing Death to the forest, lol; it’s like his eyes are taxidermied.
Before I came across this species I hadn’t known they could indeed imitate a cat’s meow. But they kind of do. The funny thing is it sounds less like a real cat and more like a human being trying to sound like a cat.

Here’s a shot I got of a contented looking gull trolling the beach a few years ago.
That bird is wild!
In that photo it almost looks fake. I think it’s a cat bird.
The buff butt patch is a sure marker.
