Yes it’s red-green color blindness. My maternal grandfather had it and passed it on to his many grandsons. But there is a range to this sort of thing. For me red is visible but much reduced in brightness. So for instance, I cannot always tell if the red light on a stop light is lit or not during the day. But the green light is often indistinguishable from a white light to me. And depending on the filter glass they use on it, it may have a tinge of yellow or blue to my sight. All his little hairs are definitely yellow, but underneath those it’s a solid metallic green to me. Although color is a strange thing.
What colors can you see… other than yellow? Since you mention green… I’d think you can’t see red, either. Those seem to go together for some reason.
