Sweet! I was shooting my A7RII earlier today and re-remembered that camera, with the same 42.4 MP sensor as is in the A7RIII, is a very good shooter with excellent image quality. The main, and really only, flaw is the battery, but that flaw was well sufficient. The battery, a Sony FW50, is marginal at best when used in the much smaller and less power hungry ASP-C sensor A-6000 line of Sony cameras. Yeah, those old batteries were a nightmare. At one point I had five of them and I still never knew if I had enough power for a weekend trip away from an outlet. Sony really abuse us unmercifully during their learning curve on mirrorless cameras. When I think of how many blurred shots I got with the A7S of stationary objects it makes me angry. But all is forgiven, sort of.
