This is a crop from a focus stack and as such is based on a jpeg rather than a raw file. This renders it less malleable for adjustments such as exposure. Forgive a slight roughness in the finishing. These are created for the depth of focus the technique allows.

Ah, see there’s the rub. My color blindness makes certain obvious things invisible to me. I know what you are talking about but this particular photo doesn’t look that way to me. I see the difference in color but this one doesn’t stand out that way for me.
