No this isn’t the next Alien movie.
I warned this spider not to move but he wanted to be a jerk.
I have always found spiders to be profoundly alien. They do not look like they belong on this planet. It would not surprise me at all to learn that God created them for some other planet, and they somehow made their way here.
When I started doing macro photography I noticed that when you magnify these little creatures you see how truly strange, almost unreal they look.Even something as beautiful as a butterfly when viewed at high magnification displays an alien appearance with bizarre eyes and spikes sticking out all over. Spiders, centipedes, millipedes, scorpions. All are prehistoric monsters.
Was that a brown recluse?
I don’t think so. I live outside of their range. But I’m also not an expert on spiders so I’m just inferring that.
