How can there be a “Storm of the Century” every ten years or so? Can there be a new century every ten years? It’s very confusing, as though they might be exaggerating. Well, be that as it may, I have about eight hours of snow removal today and tomorrow so depending on how I break it up there may not be much writing today.
I did want to make a comment on the “Angry, Profane Joe Biden.” I like it. It’s a good look for him. His eyes bulging and his neck cords stretching. He looks more like a puppet than usual. I like him ranting and raving. He’s completely ridiculous and no one can possibly mistake him for a serious leader. He’s like a cartoon character. It’s remarkable how low this country has fallen.
Well, we’ll be telling old stories about blizzards past and stringing pop corn and churning butter but I’ll be thinking of you people who live in rational climates and shaking my fist at you.

Sorry about the snow–I have to go to the gym for my workout. Where did the door hinge shot come from?–very cool.
There used to be a sort of Museum in Massachusetts called the Higgins Armory that had mostly suits of armor and other medieval and ancient armor and weapons. The hinge was from some kind of old castle or other. It looked interesting so I took a picture of it. The Museum closed and the exhibits were given to another museum that I haven’t been to. These photos are eight or nine years old.
Don’t worry about the snow. I truly enjoy complaining.
After over 45 years on the Northern Tier, I escaped Vermont for South Carolina seven years ago. I shoveled, scraped and threw snow from Cape Ann to Minot, ND. Don’t miss it at all.
The only thing I like about snow and ice is complaining about it. I love playing the martyr. It’s hereditary on my father’s side.
I just spent a little more than two hours clearing the top driveway again so my granddaughter’s parents can drop her off. Maybe tomorrow is the bottom driveway. Depends on the temps coming up. If it’s going to get warm I like to clear it ahead of time to prevent the ice from forming.
