Sounds like the scientific method to me:
1) Propose a theory.
2) Test the theory – collect data.
3) Evaluate the theory. Does the theory match the data?
Yes: Good theory. Continue.
No: Bad theory. Go back to Step 1.
They say that the Germans like to work by a system. Good for Goethe. Unfortunately for me, my more mercurial Mediterranean blood likes to wing it. That’s why I’m so poor. But I have had a lot of fun.
