07JAN2022 Snowfall
Well it was bound to happen. We at least were given a pass during the holidays so I can’t complain. The good side is it’s fun to look out the window and enjoy the warmth of the presently restored heating system. The bad news is I’m going to be spending a bunch of hours clearing driveways, balconies, staircases and porches.
So today may not be the most productive writing day I’ve managed lately. But I’ll do my best.

What was wrong with your Hvac system?
Based on what they replaced it could have been everything. They replaced both controllers, the flame detector, the coupling for the fuel pump motor, then the fuel pump motor, then the fuel pump. Then just for good measure they replaced the domestic hot water mixing valve. Now all of this was after they replaced the power venter which is a suction fan that draws the combustion gas out of the house when you don’t have a chimney.
